I'm more interested in how beast future Rogue really is. He blocked Natsu's extremely pissed punch like it was nothing.
But then again Mashima doesn't really know how to follow/handle hype so I won't be getting my hopes up. For all I know Rogue will get off-paneled or underwhelmingly owned in 1 chapter.
I'd say he followed the hype on, say, Hades, very well, and Bluenote too. And Oracion Seis pretty well, they were supposed to be a big-bad guild and they opened with... trashing most of the good guys.
Or, when some FT members beat some Grimoire heart members early on in the arc, only to be inform, 'oh, the Seven Kin blow us out of the water'.
I suspect this is following the dramatic convention of, 'have the main characters decisively beat one group of enemies (Sabertooth), then lose to a stronger one, thus demonstrating just how strong the new one is.'
The Azuma fight is probably the worst fight in the series even though I threw a bit of a shit-fit when Erza beat Minerva.
The Hades and Bluenote wrap-ups were pretty lackluster too though the Oracion Seis was decent.
I honestly did not care about Future Lucy dying because she was hardly here to begin with.
