Batman: Arkham City

I'm glad we're getting costume DLC around December I believe. Wonder which suits are gonna be in it.

Most of the reviews that came out so far for this game are 10/10. Looking good out there, Arkham City.

A game that isn't a shooter gets over an 8, how can this be?!

You know I was being sarcastic right?

Always in a Batman thread should everything mean serious business.

Didn't think that was the case here since someone posted/brought up Joel Schumacher's Batman costume design earlier.

*Goes back a couple pages*

Goddang it BloodRain.

I saw a b*tch few days ago at the bar we go to saying that needs to be a playable skin. Yeah, we're all flocking to play as Clooney Batman...

Was that the one with the nipples?

That will always be the 'best' costume evar.

Got excited when they likened swooping to Spider-Man's swinging mechanics. I'd go pretty nuts, given the amount of time we've had since a free-roam Spidey game.

Game Informer gave this a perfect 10 rating!

I just paid off my PS3 copy and I'm waiting like a kid at Xmas for Tuesday to hurry up and get here.

I can see how.
Spider-Man 2's Swing Mechanics were awesome enough that I'd go back to the game just to zip around.

~ I'm just hoping for better and more interesting boss battles this time around, somewhat like the final Killer Croc encounter in AA. Everything else was top notch in AA.

I heard a rumour that you fight Harley Quinn during the game. For the love of all that is holy, please make it a h2h MA fight.

3 years? Not very long when talking about video game releases

Spider-Man 2 was the height of the series in terms of swing mechanics, it was released in 2004. Early '07 for SM3. So 4.5 years at best, but 7 since the glory days.

Well yeah spidey 2 was better at swinging, but web of shadows was late 08 which was a free roam game. Which is what i thought u meant.

Except for the Titan Joker encounter, which felt kinda lackluster even though the game was building up to that.

On that note though, I replayed AA on hard difficulty most of yesterday and some of today to get myself back into the swing of things again. Think I might try Arkham City on the hardest difficulty first time through. Probably looking forward to the Freeze encounter(s) most, off the top of my head.

I hated that, Joker shouldn't get a bane boss fight. He deserved something more unique

the final punch was cool though
