Got excited when they likened swooping to Spider-Man's swinging mechanics. I'd go pretty nuts, given the amount of time we've had since a free-roam Spidey game.
I can see how.
Spider-Man 2's Swing Mechanics were awesome enough that I'd go back to the game just to zip around.
~ I'm just hoping for better and more interesting boss battles this time around, somewhat like the final Killer Croc encounter in AA. Everything else was top notch in AA.

I heard a rumour that you fight Harley Quinn during the game. For the love of all that is holy, please make it a h2h MA fight.

3 years? Not very long when talking about video game releases
Spider-Man 2 was the height of the series in terms of swing mechanics, it was released in 2004. Early '07 for SM3. So 4.5 years at best, but 7 since the glory days.

Well yeah spidey 2 was better at swinging, but web of shadows was late 08 which was a free roam game. Which is what i thought u meant.

On that note though, I replayed AA on hard difficulty most of yesterday and some of today to get myself back into the swing of things again. Think I might try Arkham City on the hardest difficulty first time through. Probably looking forward to the Freeze encounter(s) most, off the top of my head.
