Seems like there's a lot of "Cyke's highest showing could beat Namor's average performance." going on here. That's not really a fair comparison.

I'd say Namor 7/10. Scott could win if he fights clever while Namor looses his cool, as they are both known to do at times. If Namor fights smart he should win.

Going with your idea, Scott needs a lot of prep time to have a chance of winning against Namor.

Direct confrontation will score 1/10 chance for Scott to win, and going with that, ex: Scott blast Namor directly in the eyes or crotch or scatter buildings and objects on Namor to knock him out.

I notice most X-men needs to fight in groups to win an average villain or hero, excluding Wolverine and omega mutants.

I'm reminded of X-Factor #16 wherein Scott is ambushed by the Master Mold. He lures MM into an oil refinery and then blows it up FTW. Cyclops's upset victories usually involve surprising or out smarting his opponent, rather than just blasting real hard.
