I'd like to point out that a team consisting of a tourney newbie and someone who joined almost literally at the last minute, with a cobbled together team that they had basically no chance to plan out together, brought their first match (against Blair and Goob of all people) to a judge vote of 2-2.
Obviously we SHOULD win, but I'd still judge that as a success personally.

I had a pretty good time debating with everyone myself. I'd like to think win or lose, I didn't do half bad for a n00b 😉

All right, we just have a little bit of housekeeping to do. Batdude and I have two announcements to make for Round Two:
1. We will be reopening the rosters between the end of Round One and the beginning of Round Two.
-The character limit per team will remain at 3, but teams can swap any of their characters for one that were not drafted or were used by teams who lost in Round One.
-As soon as the last match finishes up, we'll announce the timeframe for the Add/Drop
2. To clear up the issue of power meshing limits: For Round Two and beyond, characters can only possess two Herald-level powersets.
-it does not matter if you theoritically can bestow every powerset of the JLA, Avengers, and Defenders upon a single character - the limit is two
So please be aware of these two announcements as we continue the Tournament. Thanks. 🙂

To be absolutely clear, let me use Superman as an example. This means Superman plus one more power set. Or Two Herald power sets, on top of Superman’s own ability?
