Batdude123 and TheKahn's Holiday Herald Tournament

I like this limitation. Forces teams to relay more on ingenuity. Cant have too many Kryptonian heralds with 10 power rings. crackers

Doesn't Onslaught technically already have two herald level powersets....?

lol.

Hey, we didn't go overboard with rings...

Otherwise it would have been Henshaw with all ten power rings running around in the fight biscuits

It's cool. You just can't amp him any more.

Perfect stoned

No amping for Cyborg Supes or just about anyone with more then 2 herald class abilities.

[b]2. To clear up the issue of power meshing limits: For Round Two and beyond, characters can only possess two Herald-level powersets.

-it does not matter if you theoritically can bestow every powerset of the JLA, Avengers, and Defenders upon a single character - the limit is two

They said herald powersets, not herald class abilities. Maybe this should be further clarified?

Cyborg Superman + a yellow ring would be an example of what Kahn and I are talking about.

Thanks. I figured Id was wrong. sneer

Meh the way I understand it is the rule pertains strictly regarding “Power Meshing” through prep. All in effort to avoid stacking more then one “Top Tier” power set, on an existing character.

Its not really addressing character who comes in with “two” herald power sets. Otherwise Onslaught would not be the only character restricted to any "Power Meshing".

disgustfist

in the redraft, is there a limit on how many we can add/drop?

I've got to admit, i'm pretty confused by the meshing limitations... can I have some examples of what does and doesn't break the rules?

I think meshing all together tends to get silly.

superman + one powerset. not all that complex . . .

and apparently (according to bats--all characters can be subbed out for new ones if a team desires . . .)

In my opinion it almost never gives any significant advantage anyways, wasted prep time.
