You forgot to mention that sexy little shield he has around his body. The attack destroyed it but it served its purpose. Find something else without context. I don't even know what going on in that second scene.
This is literally one half of the Source attacking him.

The shield was destroyed in the first blast, Superman directly tanked an attack from ALE entity here. This is literally one half of the Source attacking him.
They are saying ride with it or you'll be torn apart. Lol... the only reason Superman wasn't torn apart is due to him being knocked TF out. Keep reaching.

Why did he say they are lucky they survived? Survived what?

Nothing? It's an artistic rendition.
It's difficult with the overlap of orange and yellow but you can see the blast doesn't actually reach him.
I don't think Superman took a direct blast, I think it just caused the secondary breach that they needed to roll with or be torn apart?

Read the ****ing scans, retard.https://ibb.co/kVgCfQwn
Why would they need to be lucky if they could simply tank it as you're trying to say?
So they said they are lucky they survived for no reason? Who said they tanked it? They were obviously impacted by the blast, but the ft is, they survived.

1. Cyclops Full Optic blast
2. 20 punches from WWhulk
3. Megaton Nuke ground zero
4. Goku's ss3 kamehameha 😉
5. Planet explosion
6. Sun Core
7. Super Nova ground zero
8. A year in a Black Hole
9. Full Blast from Thanos and Darkseid(no OBP)
10. Anti-Matter Wave
These days I’d easily side with the Surfer because of his ability to heal himself from being diced up to straight up being able to become intangible during combat. Can’t hurt what can’t be hit.

it very clearly didn't hit him as the drawing of the impact is well in front of him. not sure how or why that is could possibly be up for debate lol
