GDS Orion doesn't look all that f*cking great. Standard Orion beat Darkseid after a grueling fight, even taking an Omega shot, and then ripped DS's heart out. GDS landed two ineffective shots and got incinerated with one non-descript blast.
The Countdown fight is made completely bullsh*t if anyone is arguing that GDS was hotsh*t. GDS Darkseid was stepping on PC Kryps? Good for him. But it doesn't mean that anyone that can make him budge is much greater than the standard PC Kryptonian. That's like saying Hercules is greater than Thanos because he punched Galactus and made him budge. Of course he budged. Hercules can hold up a planet. But it doesn't change the fact that he never stood a chance against Galactus. However, if he ripped something out of Galactus that destroyed him, if indeed Galactus has anything to rip out, that would be a pretty good showing for Hercules.

I tend to agree. GDS Orion was a joke and nothing compared to regular Orion. WW Hulk beats him senseless.

I dont know why people are comparing Orion and Darkseid strength as the same because of a brawl. Wolverine brawled against WWH but its pretty obvious that WWH is stronger.Hercules brawled against wwh but admitted that wwh was stronger.
Just because you faught someone doesnt make you their physical equal or it doesnt mean that you can defeat or go through the same people like that character did.
Stop using abc logic and show us something that make you think Orion could beat WWH.

Countdown Orion was not regular Orion. He was even showing attacks that swatted away the JLA with ease, and he has never showed that ability before

He summoned that wind that sent the JLA flying. Orion doesn't have any external attacks like that. In an interview he apparently was tapping into more of his godhood, but then another interview said it was the Source upgrade (which I doubt it was)

I really doubt it was the Source upgrade because the only sequence of events was poorly mishandled.
