Here, while tracking Ego the Living Planet, Thor is drawn towards the vessel of the Collector, an Elder of the Universe. In the past, the Collector has taken on entire Avengers teams, Thor included. This time around, Thor turns Collector's obsession against him:

We haven't seen much of the thunder god in the cosmos of late. Here we see him in action and shows off some of the wondrous things he can do with his mallet when not on terra firma.

With such ease Thor traverses the cosmos and intercepts Ego the living planet already barreling through the solar system in "hyperspace".

After being blasted away by the Stranger, Thor renews his pursuit of Ego. He even uses Mjolnir to chart the speeding planet's trajectory and overtakes him to his destination. What a wondrous mallet it is!

^I see they're finally using that right hip strap to hold mjolnir. It's been there since Thor's redesign in 2007, but JMS would just have him place the hammer somewhere behind his back.

Also, "Astonishing Thor" is an ongoing series as of now, right? No plans to cancel it or have it be a limited series?

Doesn't appear to be a limited series. But we'll see.
