The description of Mjolnir is pretty incredible also.

" Able to shatter whole planets as easy as pebbles. It is the most powerful weapon in all the nine realms."

Why cant he lift it?

So Aaron does a bad run on Hulk but a good one on Thor. F**k you Aaron...

Well on a plus side, Waid is doing a good job on Hulk. Especially with,The Worlds Finest:Hulk and Thor, that is going on right now 😈

Young Thor isn't worthy yet

This is not the place to ***** and moan.

Love the scans...seems like Marvel is slowly but surely bringing the old Thor back. Hope they have recent showings of Thor busting a planet open with a hammer hit.

The last thing Thor said makes me think of Waynes World. Dream Weaver. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nn0L6055gs

It should also be noted that the unstable matter that he casually tossed so far was mined from the core of broken worlds and dead Stars, making it a pretty crazy strength feat:

^That just means that they excavated unknown quantities of "unstable matter" from cores of stars and planets. How many stars and planets did they mine? How much of that stuff was extracted?

^ Thor spins Mjolnir and it repels the attacking Asgardians. Notice the ground underneath him remains intact.

That's an awesome durability/damage soak showing for Thor, as Odin described the axe as being a cleaver of worlds.

He's been getting some good piercing damage soak feats. He got impaled multiple times by Gorr and kept on fighting. Healed soon after also.

"Even distracted, still a deadly shot."

More funny then a feat but whatever.

Exactly, and it was brought to my attention that Star matter in that form is incredibly dense. Unknown, the stuff in the bandages was all they had managed to sneak out from Gorr.

Depends on what type of "dead star". A neutron star, and a few teaspoons will weigh billions of metric tons. A black hole is out of the question. A dwarf star, not that impressive.

Tell me, prior to Thor just picking it up and taking off with it, was it shown to be unmovable? Kind of like that half-a-million-ton key in All Star Superman?

Dead Stars are either White Dwarf or Neutron Stars no? I guess Neutron Star matter would weigh more but even if it was the former, it'd be heavy as hell.

Not that I know of.

"Although white dwarfs are known with estimated masses as low as 0.17[27] and as high as 1.33[28] solar masses, the mass distribution is strongly peaked at 0.6 solar mass, and the majority lie between 0.5 to 0.7 solar mass.[28] The estimated radii of observed white dwarfs, however, are typically between 0.008 and 0.02 times the radius of the Sun;[29] this is comparable to the Earth's radius of approximately 0.009 solar radius. A white dwarf, then, packs mass comparable to the Sun's into a volume that is typically a million times smaller than the Sun's; the average density of matter in a white dwarf must therefore be, very roughly, 1,000,000 times greater than the average density of the Sun, or approximately 106 g/cm3, or 1 tonne per cubic centimetre.[1]"

From Wikipedia, a white dwarf while not as dense as a neutron star is still impressively dense, and Thor did just kinda football that chunk of dead star.

Well, if the above assumptions are true, then that little rock he carried would be around 350k tons. Give or take. 😛

You mean to tell me that water flask sized bomb was 350,000 cc in volume?
