I sent a pm to Rage some time back regarding this feat.

Depending on the type of star from which the unstable matter was mined, that bomb can weigh anywhere between a few metric tons to a couple trillion tons.

What kind of core from dead stars would weigh a few metric tons? I was always under the impression that dead stars would mean: Supernovas, Black Holes or (more realistically) Neutron Stars.

Some quick miscellaneous stuff

It's stated that the unstable matter was mined from the cores. Not that it is the core of the star itself.

White Dwarves are also dead stars. Smaller suns like ours can only cool down enough to compress into white dwarves. Neutron Stars and black holes are formed from much more massive stars.

Anyways, I don't feel like derailing a Respect Thread, so if anyone wants to continue to dispute this feat with me, they are more than welcome to do so in PMs, or on the versus forum.

Well, I KNOW that part. Of course it was mined from the core of a dead star, just asking w/c TYPE of cores would have mass w/in the range that you described (few metric trons).

The computation I presented WAS from the basic characteristics given on the White Dwarfs (1 metric ton per cubic centimeter) as provided above, simply computed it based on possible volume from how it looked in relation to Thor in size (with some assumptions). I agree on your upper range (even higher if you consider Quark Matter), I just wonder where the lower range was derived from.

Not disputing the "feat" at all, tho. Just opening a discussion on accurately trying to gauge it for better quantification of said "feat". Something I'm sure is one of functions of the Respect Forum.

Isn't the bomb the glowy purple thingie he's been carrying on his shoulders? Looks more than a water flask to me? Or did I miss something as I simply based my math on the scans.

Rechecked my math and my figures were WAY OFF. LOL. Silly me, placed in the diameter and not the radius and placed it at over a meter (w/c shouldn't be the case). Dunno wtf is wrong with me cept that it was a rushed computation due to me playing and computing at the same time.

I fixed my math and improved the assumptions to under 1 meter and about 6 inches in radius.

My math:
Assumptions:
15cms radius
85cm height

New Volume: 60k cm2.

Some1 pls recheck my values to see if the assumptions are even remotely accurate.

Sorry for the split responses. Posted my reply, clarification and the new computation (when I rechecked my math) happened at time intervals too far apart for the edit function.

Wasn't sure where to put this so whatever.

After trying -and failing- to cut through Ragnarok's skin (Even with advanced tech), Pym/The Witch teleport the cybernetic components out of Ragnarok's brain (He survives due to his Asgardian physiology):

Despite the extent of the injury, after being stimulated with lightning(?), Ragnarok regenerates the tissue crazy quick:

He then rips apart Iron Man (Of that Universe):

Becomes worthy of the Mjolnir (Of that Universe):

Seems, the only thing that was preventing Ragnarok from being noble like Thor was the tech Stark/Reed/Pym installed in the poor clone. I feel bad for the guy, and dislike those nerds just a little bit more.

Interesting.

Yeah, seems Ragnarok is all organic now, if that means his more powerful than even before with a Mjolnir copy, he's probably more like Beta Ray Bill then a cheap clone now.

It'd be neat if they ever decided to bring back the Thor Corps and had in it.

Not a fan of the new look. 😘 But I like that he's all organic and had a change of heart.

Thor downs the X-Jet with a wind blast. Nice weather manip feat as he controls it enough to not injure the craft or the people inside.

Ragnarok forces open a time sliver gate:

An eternal debate on who's stronger between Hulk/Thor. Some speculation about how Mjolnir works but pretty clear that Hulk can't lift the hammer:

Thor demonstrates to Hulk that he can't lift Mjolnir:

By vibrating the piece of Mjolnir Thor gave to SHIELD, the machine can open a portal to any point in the entire Space/Time continuum, further demonstrating how vast the hammer's teleporation capabilities are:
