The reason would be obvious. The scenario is a hypothetical and the reason would be moot to the actual point being made.

The idea is: some people think God has to bend over backwards for them to do something good. That's not the case. You should be bending over backwards to be doing something good. I'm sure God appreciates the extra effort, and the people around you certainly don't mind either.

Well, if it was considerate enough to prove (irrefutably (because it is omnipotent, this should be possible)) that it really is Yahwe (or whatever) then I would definitely fulfill its demands, because it would have proven that its moral code is, in fact, absolute.

2. I would ask that voice to providet the means to do such a project. Because I don't have enough money for extra hobbies.

3. No problem....If the State of California pays me for executing a well known repeater murder...I'd gladly turn the switch on. I'm pro Capital Punishment.

As long as i was convinced that i wasn't hallucinating and that this spirit was righteous and would continue to guide me along my journey then i would certainly follow it's will. I strive to follow God's will as it is. If we knew for a fact though, what God wanted of us, our free will would be a bit compromised. We all want to do great things, eh? I don't think it gets much greater than following the direct instructions of, God.

you dont know whomever you sent to court if they are innocent or not. its a test kinda how gawd had the dude sacrifice his son...

you would be doing the same thing but more modern.... thats why i said friend, family or celebrity... i would think you would have some emotional tie to whomever you sent to court
