Perhaps.. but I've seen that set for as cheap as $15 before. That's a pretty epic good deal. (They're not the blu-rays, so I've never bothered with it, but you know...)

From what I've read and what I can recall (it was a while ago), the impression I got was that...

...I suppose the general consensus amongst the Necros is that he shouldn't be their lord Marshal, and I think Vaako actually makes some deal with him or something and helps him somehow.

Other than that I'm not sure. We'll just have to wait and see.

That can't be from Pitch Black. Notice the chestplate armor, in Pitch Black he had a tank top the whole time.

Also he appears to be sitting on a motorbike of some sort, which obviously wasn't in Pitch Black.

I know, I'm just saying how similar it looks to PB.

It could also be a trailer like depiction of one of the past films. But then again it could be the same for a third one. He doesnt seem to be looking at anything and the angle of the shot would have someone else in it since it is so far back.

There is supposed to be another still out of Riddick about to slit Vaako's throat, but I can't see it on my phone. Moviepilot has it..

I probably shouldn't look anyway. Man, this is gonna be the hardest movie not to watch trailers and whatnot.. ugh.
