The Thanos Imperative!

Yeah. A few mini's featuring those people would be cool.

Marvel has so much material to use in such stories and we rarely see it being used properly or at all

Well, for what it counts Marvel cosmics has been taking into consideration many plotlines that have been dangling for years and evolving them to new levels, I mean, not even the villains of Annihilation or Conquest were established enough to deserve an event of any kind.

DnA were establishing a pretty good continuity with cosmic Marvel. It doesn't look like Marvel is allowing Pak to screw with it too much so the damage done from Chaos war will hopefully be minimal.

talk about great amounts of pessimism here...

We'll talk about optimism when the Guardians have their ongoing again well and fine uhuh

at least that's not Pak's mistake...😛

I'm afraid that I'll read Chaos War #1 only to read that Amatsu-Mikaboshi is the chaos and the void that predates Lord Chaos and Oblivion.

I mean, WTF? Cosmic entities>>>>>>>>>>a god from a local planet's pantheon, no matter how they want to retcon it or retrofit the origin.

I wonder if this is the beginning of the Gods returning to power. All we need is Odin stalemating Galactus or something. Make it happen Fraction.

The reactions from Cosmic fans will be glorious.

I think they'll made it pretty clear that Mikaboshi is not a "god" in the other panthons' fashion.

Crap, forgot about that. His more than a "God" now.

Still, this might help bring the power of "Gods" into light.

I don't understand why some people have trouble with the Gods of Earth Pantheons being powerful.

well I think it's been established through the years that they are powerful just not on Celestials, Galactus or Abstracts (Eternity etc) level.
and I'm fine with this as long as they do stand up to their identity as gods. Marvel should make it clear that they are considerable powers again.

What I'm saying is I just hope Pak won't have Hulk decimating a pantheon in Chaos War

I never thought that the gods were down graded. The Skyfathers certainly weren't. I just don't want stuff like chaos war being lumped in as cosmic.

It'll happen. And it will be absolute shit.

If that happens then Marvel has successfully transformed itself into DC.

There are plenty of heroes/anti-heroes who are equal to Superman in physical statistics. Superman is simply the greatest at being a hero and using his skillset well, but he's not the most powerful.

How many heroes can you name --with no amp-- that Marvel would favor against Hulk in H2H? There are absolutely none.

Marvel has slobbered over Hulk's dick for far too long. They are worse than DC.

Fully powered Juggz. That's about it I guess. Maybe Blue Marvel.

Full powered Juggs is a Cyttorak obeying villain.

It's ok for villains to be stronger than heroes, even the main ones.

Blue Marvel? Nah. Dude has done very little thus far to say such a thing. He did well against a non-serious Sentry, but was also hurt badly as well. And he knocked out a dude that is supposedly King Hyperion, even if its the alternate dimension one we all are thinking about, the fact that its an alternate dimension makes it dubious as to how powerful the foes that Hyperion has beaten in his dimension were.
