STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- Chains

Unfortunately that knife wound is not a glancing blow but a full stab. Yeesh.

What Combat schticks is Vlad using?

Ouch, that would be a hell lot more than ten damage though, wouldn't it then?

I shall be using Dodge and Weave, Whirling Strike, and Street Fighter.

Combat schticks! Dodge and Weave, Focussed Blow and Martial Arts please!

It would be cruel if I had your attacker do more damage than he will ever be capable of doing. You have been hit with worse in your day, Vlad.

First off, Wentar dives clear as his danger sense peaks, something Vlad should have done. A wise move- Harfer blasts a chunk of the booth out with his heavy pistol. Wentar takes 5 damage after reductions via Dodge n' Weave.

It is also Wentar that spots the Bith at the bar, with its bulbous head, pulling out a pistol... and also the Bloodcarver the next booth over drawing a sword!

Vlad rounds on his attacker, fists a-flyin'! Burly guy is a hardy fellow with Impervious acting to provide him extra armor, but Vlad is a hard hitter with Street Fighting and ignores it! Burly takes 8 damage as Vlad decks him... and Vlad triggers Focused Blow's Stunning effect with three 6s rolled! He tries to make a swipe back but only gets two dice with his pool halved and his nose broken. 2 damage to Vlad.

Quickly regaining his footing Wentar doesn't hesitate to give Vlad a hand, throwing a focused punch at his Burly opponent.

Tap Focussed Blow to ignore that impervious armor and attack Burly, please.

Aw man, let's hope that Bith doesn't do too much damage. Vlad will continue to pummel on Burley with Wentar's help.

Swift vengeance is taken on Burly, then, as Vlad and Wentar win initiative. It is actually Wentar that takes him out, coming in from Burly's side with a Jedi judo chop. This leaves Vlad without a target as he perhaps overestimated his attacker. Oops!

The sword-wielding Bloodcarver now dashes over. He takes a swipe at Vlad that our Jedi friend tries to avoid... but instead of slashing him with it, the swordsman slaps Vlad with the flat of the blade. Rolling three 6s triggers Focused Blow and deals damage. Vlad takes 5 damage and is Stunned for the next turn!

The Bith rattles off a flurry of bolts at Wentar, hitting for 4 damage. He goes again, but his bonus attack from 10,000 Bolts misses!

Harfer pulls himself out of the booth, revealing the big ol' pistol he is clutching.

Wentar ignores the now disabled Burly and spins around for a swift kick at Carver, in order to give Vlad some breathing room.

Swap out FB, Tap MA and attack Carver this time please.

Oh man, seems like your on your own this turn Wentar!

I would check what Stunning and being Stunned does for/to you, Vlad.

Woops, sorry! Don't get stunned a lot...

Vlad will stagger back from the impact and throw a jab at the Bloodcarver.

No worries, it is a new rule.

Initiative again! Vlad is slightly dazed but goes after the Carver anyway, hitting him in the gut for 5 damage. Wentar is going kung fu on the Bloodcarver in some way that he is free to describe, as he ramps up his base damage to 4 and his pool to 12 with a Martial Artist tap. Six successes is 10 damage. Carver goes down!

The Bith hits Wentar for 4 damage and then misses again as bolts cut up the booths and people dive for cover, and Harfer scores a hit for 6 damage himself.

Wentar's kick connects with Carver's side, causing him to pause. Pressing his advantage Wentar kicked him again, before throwing himself closer to his target, smacking him in the side of the head with a swift chop, dropping Carver to the ground.

Swap out MA and attack Harfer.

"Get the Bith!" Wentar shouts, as he rounds on Harfer, attacking him with a sharp punch to the face.

Vlad will quickly move over to the Bith, tapping Street Fighter if he wins initiative to attack him in twice. He makes a show of bashing the Bith's head aggresively against the wall, trying to get him down.

Intiative goes to the Bith and Harfer! The Bith lays down some fire on Vlad as he races in, nicking him for 6 damage with his repeating attack. Harfer hits Wentar for 5 damage.

Vlad doesn't take kindly to being shot at and punches the Bith solidly in the chest for 8 damage before slamming his vulnerable head down against the bar for 7 damage. He's out!

Without his offensive schticks, Wentar's not quite as threatening as he was... but he hits Harfer for 4 damage. The Snivvian throws down his pistol in surrender as you've removed his flunkies.

"Alright, alright!" Harfer snarls. "Yeesh, I'll take you to Edula, just don't break my face!"

"I do not appreciate being stabbed and shot at, Harfer!" growls Vlad as he approaches the surrendering man.

"You better take us to Edula, and if you don't - there will be consequences..."

Wentar- you catch a flare of anger from Vlad, but he brings it under control quickly.

"I said I would, didn't I?" Harfer says. "Just follow me."

Harfer takes a few steps back to make sure you aren't going to lunge at him, then turns and walks calmly away from the now-smoldering booths. He is heading for an employees only entrance.

Vlad will turn around to check up on Wentar and see if he's ready.

Hopefully, it won't be an ambush.

Wentar glances at Vlad during his anger spike, but nods, signaling he's good and ready to follow.

"I told you I didn't want this to escalate to violence," Wentar says to Harfer as he follows him into the employees only entrance.

"Yeah, well, I didn't think you'd beat everyone up," Harfer admits.

He pushes the door open and you enter the kitchen of the New Feather. It is a grimy place; the Gamorrean chef looks at you quizzically and shouts something offensive before Harfer brings you to a freezer.

"In we go," Harfer says, opening the door. A rush of cold escapes the walk-in freezer.
