STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- Chains

(Ah, good catch! Must not have put that in my notes.)

Altar will embrace Wentar, though not so tight as to hurt any of your injuries.

"You were played by a faltering system, my old student," Altar says. "You could not have known what Senator Farl was up to, and you uncovered a great injustice."

Altar has nothing more to say about that, though he believes that Loj'oon would not have personally known much about Emso being sold to Farl.

Vlad is starting to come around. He is very quiet. Unusual.

Wentar nods his head. "Though I have gained a new insight into that incident on Ryho all those years ago."

He turns to Vlad, concerned for his friend as he comes to. "Vlad, are you okay?"

Altar goes quiet at the mention of Ryho.

"I'm fine," is all Vlad has to say for himself.

Wentar will leave Altar to his thoughts for now.

"Are you sure, Vlad?" he asked. "I sensed anger in you back at the detention level, before the fighting started."

"I don't want to talk about it," Vlad says.

Wentar hesitates and then shrugs. He hasn't know Vlad for very long and did not wish to push the issue. "When you do feel like talking, I'll still be here."

He then sits against a wall, watching Altar in thought, Vlad remaining quite and the medical droid working on Emso. Having no idea on what will happen next.

You find it curious that you are being left alone so long. Nobody comes by to check on you.

The medical droid informs you that Emso is stabilized.

Is he conscious?

Wentar will thank the droid and have him move on to tending Vlad's wounds.

Not quite. The medical droid reports that Emso is stable and alive but should not be put in strenuous situations or there may be complications.

Treatment from the droid leaves Vlad and Wentar at 28 and 24 damage respectively.

Wentar will wait for him to awaken then. Talking shouldn't be too strenuous unless he freaks out over something.

Emso has been dosed with a sedative to keep him relaxed. He's a little out of it.

It is another day before anyone comes to the cell, and you are not pleased to see Hanza striding in with a handful of thugs.

Hanza looks angry.

"Get up," he snaps at you. "All of you, UP!"

Wentar slowly gets up. "I'm guessing we're about to have a meeting with you're boss," he says with a faint smile, despite being irritated by Hanza's presence, anything that irritates Hanza is a plus in his book.

"Not if I can help it!" says Hanza.

"Sir," the medical droid says in a flat tone. "My patients must not be..."

Hanza blows apart the droid's head with a quick draw and blast. Its words fizzle out in a puff of flame.

"Get them cuffed," Hanza says. His thugs move toward you, some of them with stun-cuffs, others covering them with blasters.

How many thugs are there?

"I'm pretty sure he'll notice us missing Hanza," Wentar says, realizing things could be getting quite bad and backing away from the thugs. "And I'm pretty sure he'll know who to blame."

"You struggled when I tried to have you moved to the prison level," Hanza says. "You tried to escape. And I stopped you. You won't really be able to tell him otherwise, will you?"

Six thugs, Wentar.

Does Wentar sense any danger in this situation?

Yes!

"You're going to kill us?" Altar asks.

"You're damned right I am," Hanza says, leveling his pistol at your former mentor's face. "Put the cuffs on or I'll start right now."

How many are in there room? Is it feasible for us to force them out and close the door? It is a bit silly to lock ourselves in the jail cell, but anything to keep Hanza out.

All six have moved into the room behind Hanza. And that is certainly feasible!

Behind Hanza... Reckon a Combat Push at Hanza would disrupt things enough to do such a thing?

If so then without hesitation Wentar will launch a combat push at Hanza, hoping Altar's reflexes will keep him from harm if Hanza accidentally fires.
