This time, your bid to twist one of his lightsabers out of his grip is a success! He poses a flashy defense in which he turns his back on you and flips his blades behind him, but when he turns around again he has to let go of one to avoid cutting himself with it, as you interpose your blade. It clatters to one side and off the walkway.

Pick your next six moves, please!
Hmmm, Vlad is a lot more athletic then me. Three Dex, Two Agi and one Strength, this time I think.
-
Wentar twirls his lightsaber and backs up as Vlad's other saber clatters off the walkway.
"Please Vlad, stop this nonsense, I don't want to have to keep fighting you," he pleads, re adjusting his defensive stance. "Just walk away and we can put this all behind us."
A good draw this time!

Vlad is going to slam his remaining lightsaber into yours, trying to keep it pressed against your blade so that he can force you back.
"Hanza needs to pay with his life for all the lives he's cut short!" Vlad yells.
Before Vlad can regain his balance, Wentar is upon him! In mere seconds, Wentar has jabbed his lightsaber in and twisted the weapon from Vlad's grip. He moves to reach for it, but you raise your lightsaber to his throat...

Wentar: 5

Wentar is victorious! And you now notice that Hanza is no longer on the walkway...
Wentar studies Vlad for a moment, before deactivating and holstering his lightsaber, offering a hand to help him up.
"No... you shouldn't have," Wentar agrees, before thinking back to a similar experience with Altar. "But sometimes even the best of us lose their way. I'm just glad I was able to stop you from doing something you'd regret."
You find it difficult to sense Hanza's mind, Wentar. His bid to destroy the engines has failed, but perhaps his use to the Overlord is not yet finished...
In the monitoring station, Emso appears to be having a field day with this stuff! He's dismantled several things and put them back together in ways they probably were never intended to, but things are starting to come back online. Loj'oon is certainly pleased with the results; they're getting readings on the engines again, though not totally.
Above, the battle rages on! And this time, the Srum decide to strike back at the Lower Quarters in an attempt to clear out one of the fronts they are being forced to fight on. With the assassins sneaking their way about the station, they are able to launch crippling ambushes against your mostly untrained forces.
At a 3:2 ratio, the roll is a 5- Defenders Lose. Two units are forced are attacked to the point of breaking, and the survivors try to make for higher levels while the remaining units hold their ground to cover them.

Oh crap. This is not looking good... and that Overlord is a major concern.
-
Wentar want's Loj'oon's advice on these orders.
Move the Artillery to the Market.
Move the Market Freed Slaves down to the Upper Quarters.
Move the Lower Quarter Freed Slaves to the Upper Quarters.
-
"Seems you have quite a knack for this," Wentar observes, he knew Emso had technical skill, but this level creativity surprised him.
"Vlad, anything you can do to give him a hand?"
Loj'oon just wants to confirm that you realize that the Srum will send in more troops and take over the Lower Quarters (unless they change tactics and keep assaulting Maintenance).
He also wants to pull his Private Guard back to the Bridge.
-
Vlad is happy to assist Emso with this. He wants to stay out of the fighting for now.
"It's all I really know how to do," Emso admits.
Wentar will point out that if those forces stay at the Lower Quarters and the Srum attack there the defensed will be crushed. Better to regroup and reinforce the Markets then be permanently undermanned on the bridge side.
I'm fine with moving the Private Guard to the Bridge.
-
Wentar is surprised at that remark. His first impression of Emso being Farl's servant, not his slave, is hard to shake it seems.
"Well you're certainly good at it," he says, gesturing to the monitoring station's repairs. "A valuable skill in this day and age."
-
Vlad's wishes agreeable. Better to keep him out of anything too stressful for now... Wentar wants to tell Altar about what happened down there though, just so that he's aware of the situation. Assuming Vlad doesn't mind.
