You are not understanding. Thanos can't even come close to doing what Odin is capable of. Any fight they had was utter PIS for the sake of the story. Odin can do all kinds of stuff that will pawn Thanos with a gesture.

That fight was like watching Spider-man fighting Firelord. Satisfying yet unlogical.

Odin probably would have tired out against Thanos. The major problem for Odin is that Thanos can't die, while Odin is an old man and will gas out eventually. Taking that pounding was just part of Thanos's strategy to get Odin all punch drunk.

Why man? You saying the Titan can't work Odin over eventually with his immortality? Even Gods gotta get tired sometime. Death is a more powerful force than Odin and the Titan is the herald of Death essentially...she can prevent him from dying indefinitely regardless of what Odin does.

Alright, what if Thanos uses a divide and conquer strategy? We've seen he can take out the guys on Odin's team in a couple panels (e.g. Surfer). What happens when Odin is the only one left and Thanos+team ratpack him?

She appeared to Thanos right before Drax hit him to let him know it was time. The guy was made immortal, I have the scans but can't post em because I'm new here. It was in Cosmic Powers or something when he goes into Death's realm and gets made immortal as a punishment.

Sure man, I'll give you that one, but Odin seems easier to occupy than Thanos. If Odin is being distracted he won't realize it and flaunt his power, while if Thanos is being distracted he'll know they are trying to keep him busy. I mean, Sentry with Void looks unkillable himself, he can keep Odin busy even if Odin keeps killing him over and over. I dont think Odin's team has anyone that can keep Thanos busy though.

Thanos can put down Thor and Surfer in the first moments of this fight (hes done so in the past) while Void Sentry is annoying Odin with his molecular manipulation and immortality.

Did you know Odin wears an eyepatch (which I wouldn't put past you to twist into Thanos lasting that long because he couldn't see him), and Thanos is purple?

Can Odin tire or not? I think that is the issue for him against Thanos. He was putting out loads of energy blasts but it wasnt working. I want to know if he he would give out eventually and Thanos just pounds him into submission.

Wait, Odin is really missing an eye? I thought it was just a different color but now I realize that he can't regenerate, meaning Sentry can beat him with molecular manipulation. Only a character who can regenerate can undo the damage Sentry (Void) will inflict.

In the comics, he gives up his eye to learn how to stop Ragnarok IIRC.
