"Oh? Why is that?" Seth asks, smiling cheekily.

"Come now, Seth," Aurel says, irritably.

"I know nothing about Jedi duels," says the bounty hunter Harvik, "but your lightsabers are so outdated. Nobody fights with melee weapons these days. Nobody good."

"Because your arrogance would be your undoing," replies Iffa, "you should mind your overconfidence." He smiles patronisingly at Harvik.

Seth is put off by that and does not pursue the conversation.

"Well, I'm impressed by lightsabers," Trawley says. "Obviously they know how to use them and use them well, or they wouldn't use them."

Harvik just shakes his head. "Range is king in this era."

"The Lightsabre is more than a melee weapon," Iffa replies. "It can reflect blaster bolts, can unlock doors, can even be thrown as a ranged weapon itself. I have seen Master Windu do some amazing things with his."

"And you forget," Aurel says. "That the Force can also be used as a tool. It is not our choice of weapon that makes us Jedi, but our connection to that energy field."

"Fat lot of good it does you," Harvik says. "Why don't you just tell these bugs to go away then?"

"It doesn't work like that," Seth says, annoyed.

"I will teach you about it upon our return"

Harvik just snickers.

"What do you make of the beetles?" Trawley asks you. "Seth and Aurel didn't have much to say, other than our planning for getting past them."

"Unusual behaviour for sure, something more than common insects."

"That much is obvious," Harvik comments.

"Did the pirates bring them?" Trawley asks.

"Not knowingly if they did," replies Iffa, "but I don't know."

Trawley shrugs uneasily.

"They don't seem right," he says.

"They don't feel right," Seth says. "Can't you sense it? Something's wrong here."

Indeed, Iffa- it is faint, but you feel it too. There is a disturbance in the Force.

"I can" replies Iffa, "a disturbance in the Force. These creatures are of an unnatural nature."

"I feel it too," Aurel says.

"I hope the Bollans know more," Seth says. "That Garan wasn't particularly helpful, after all."

"Maybe the Garans would be willing to talk if we returned him," Aurel suggests.

Seth shrugs. "I don't see any other options, here. Now, what about those pirates? They fired on you when you entered orbit, Iffa. Why?"

"They seem to have a blockade on the planet. They hailed me, I responded, I turned to go to the planet, they said my authority wasn't recognised out here and fired on me!"

"Did you tell them you were a Jedi?" Seth asks.

"Yes," replies Iffa, "although they didn't seem too impressed."

"Ah," Trawley says. "We didn't tell them we were carrying Jedi..."

"The jig's up, then," Harvik says. "Those pirates are not going to let you guys leave."

"we'll deal with the swarm, then the Bollans, the Garans...." Iffa pauses.

"Then we'll deal with the pirates."

"Bollans first," Trawley says. "Our ship only came here to deliver supplies to the Bollans. Once we find them, normally we'd be out of here. But we've got the pirates to deal with."

"And we need to deal with the swarm to deal with the Bollans."
