If Gallagher and D'an each took a flyer, would it preoccupy the flyers from attacking us any?

Not even slightly. The move is to jump on top of them.

"Go high!" Vera-Kin says to Sunda. Vera-Kin tries to throw Zaar F off-balanc and then goes down into a roll, hoping to remove Zaari F's legs as she rolls past or force her into Sunda's path.

Could a Defensive Leap get me onto a flyer? And could Flyer 1 attack someone on Flyer 2?

I want to hear the answer for that. I might ask D'an to go take care of one since Sunda and I will be preoccupying Zaari F. It'd keep you two safe(ish).

Well you can move and attack at the same time. So you someone could jump onto the flyer and then tap something to attack it and try to bring it down. Thats what I did with the last flyer.
So Vera, keep attacking the Zaari, just bring in some defensive move.

No, you specifically cannot mount a flyer and attack in the same turn because it really requires you cutting through it, not just slashing at it.

Flyers cannot attack anyone atop them. A Defensive Leap can be done but you still need to pay for the Great Leap.

If I use a Great Leap to jump onto a flyer, can I also use Saber Throw against Zaari F in the same turn?

Yup!

But the Zaari can still shoot at you.

Sod it, then. I'm just going to Defensive Leap and Great Leap onto a Flyer. Block in, Balanced out.

Ok- better hope the Zaari doesn't fire at you...

Ush, I don't really have a solution for this. I'm all tapped out and the only power I have that offers any protection is Defensive Leap.

Using Grip is a great idea.
In that case, if we get Initiative, I'm going to swap in Forward Guard, Tap it and use Flurry on Zaari C to bring him down.

If not, still Defensive leap out of there.

(What would happen if I attacked a Zaari that was being gripped?)

I'm not saying your situation is good, Vera, but you should maximise your utility before dropping.

And note you can never simply disarm dangerous foes- it's undramatic.

No difference on attacking a gripped foe, other than any riposte-style powers won't work.
