USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (LIGHT SIDE)- Harmony

Well, regardless if whether he can or not (and Gallagher isn't actually much good at attacking with the Force, I should remind people- that is NOT the Acolyte's schtick), that's getting into a fight. It's going to take more than 'fight her' to get out of this one.

Your objective is to get all of you onto that train and out. You need a sensible and comprehensive plan to do that ASAP. Aquila is going to attack so forget about talking your way through.

(Sounds like we need more of a distraction than anything else. Interrupt her action and RUN! Is there something we can throw at them or try to bring down on them? Wall, ceiling, crates? Maybe extreme, but I'm just spitballing, throwing out ideas other might improve on. Maybe everypne who has it give a sudden Force Push to knock them away? Maybe something a little simpler and more obvious that I'm not seeing?)

Well, sure, there are walls and ceilings. No other obvious objects.

But you need Fling to move a person.

No idea what-so-ever. Talk won't seem to work, but it can not hurt to keep trying.

Actually it can hurt a lo to keep trying because she'll just kill anyway...

Throw Vera at her! It's the only way! But seriously, erm, perhaps Roan can trigger an alarm that would distract her?

Maybe if we try to go around. Have everyone return to the control center, lock the northern door, open the southern one and slip around the the train that way? But then we need a way to get Thea/Sunda out of their situation...

Well, you have raised the point of getting to the train from behind, good.

Remember the obstacles to getting away on the train.

Indeed... Perhaps the old door control break trick to close the door and give us time to slice off the restraints? How many restraints are there?

You don't know!

Do we know where along the train they're placed?

No, but presumably not far from the platform.

Alright, so all the back people need to backtrack and go around to the train, then cut off the restraints and make ready our escape.

I'm trying to think of a way we can do this.
The goal would be to have Gallagher do something to distract the Nord-woman and friends while Sunda, Thea and Gallagher get out of there. I would then try to lock them in that room, so that they can move to the train and we would make our glorious escape.
Feasable?

We don't need to go all the way around, I assume the South door in the Control room will connect with the T-Junction that leads to the train.

And I can dash in to throw Essalin! Perfect! 😛

I wish Gallagher had some of those fancy defensive Force powers right about now...

Does Evade work againt Force attacks?

If not, all I can think of is Gallagher turning tail and hoping his high talent for protecting himself with the Force saves him.

"Sunda, Thea, time to leave!" Gallagher shouts as he turns to run from Lady Aquila and her entourage, preparing to call on the Force to repel whatever the Consul throws at him.

Not quite, but it will definitely take you the right way.

About the magnetic locks. Can we use a force power like push/pull, lifting or something to tamper with them?

In no way is that going to be faster than a lightsabre.

-

Evade works against force attacks that are physical, like Bombard.

Gallagher- you committed when you went around that corner. Fleeing is useless- Aquila can chase and you'll just run into the Yeomen.

The longer this takes, the more of an xp penalty you will all get.

They aren't in a room.

Crap, crap, crap.

I'm pretty sure we have a decent plan to get to the train, by going through the control center and then Sabering the Magnetic locks...

Could we Saber Throw at the locks?.

We still have to sort out Gallagher's situation.

If Gallagher can use Leadership to assume dominance over Aquila's companions that's be cool... but I have a feeling that's not how it works. Right?

Perhaps Gallagher should just push past Aquila, relying on his immense force defense?

Combat push to break her concentration and send her bowling into her companions, complete with bowling ball hitting pins sound effects and then escape?

Erm... that's all I can come up with right now...

I don't think I can use Combat Push that way, but could I possibly go over Lady Aquila?
