You could try to sense the emotional atittrude of those you were with to see if you were waling past any vaults with blatantly illegal stuff in- trouble is, what is illegal does not necessarily match what Katai is after.
You could try wandering the vaults at random and trusting your instincts, though it helps there to have a high Force score.
On a more hardcore level, force powers like 'Wisdom' will help.
Damnit to hell, I want Seduction so bad. That's like item #2 on the to-buy list (after flight for my currently useless starship).
I use my comm to contact Iffa. "Hey, I'm investigating departures because she may have already booked passage offworld. Can you ask your buddies there to give me some access so I don't have to cut through all the red tape when searching?" I head to a central hub of transportation. As before, she's very noticeable, even if she's under an alias.
Well, in the end, there are a lot of protests from Aquila and the like, but the general mood is not enough with her for her to block the request. The logs you mention are recovered, and your original conversation where you identify yourselves as Jedi and are granted landing clearance is played.
This sends the Assembly into an uproar, and Aquila's angry justifications are being drowned out.

The official is nervous, Iffa, but you don;t think it is of the buzzing insectoid at his side. Hard to sense much else.
Going for Intuition would just be a force roll to wander the vaults looking for anything useful.
So, you are just trying to see if you can spot her at the starport, Tilulla?
I'm not looking for her there in the flesh, I'm inquiring to see if anyone by her description has passed through here, and what her travel plans may have been. If the brass on the planet can cut through the red tape for me to investigate departure plans (per my request to Iffa, and only to look for Katai, not the vaults), I may be able to spot her passage before it leaves.
Indeed, it seems Aquilla is done. The Assembly decides that the matter must be investigated- and until that time, Aquila's powers as Consul will be suspended. A new selection will be held for Consul, and Thea's name will be allowed on the ballot. Thea is confident she will win- and Aquila has long since stormed out of the building, saying that the Assembly's lack for foresight will bring doom to all.
With that, it seems other arguments are starting again. The dbeate you interrupted is back to full force within moments- it must have been very important.
It's also made rather clear that it's not really your business.

Fair enough then Tilulla! Do you have a way to narrow where you are looking? Asking everyone in sight at the starport if they have seen this woman is a tad haphazard.
"No-one of that name or description on our books," says the liaison. You don't sense any particular emotion behind that statement; Scan is an imperfect lie detector as good liars don't show emotional signs ,but you think it's true.
"In that case, we must assume she is here to steal. My colleague is looking for her as we speak - any assistance you can offer her would be appreciated. Please ensure she has the minimal level of bureaucracy to get through."
"As for me, I will focus my energies on identifying possible targets for her. I appreciate you can't give me a list or inventory, but what assistance may I count on? What suggestions do you have?"
