Perhaps we can mediate as neutral judges? Thea wasn't involved since we marched with her to this place... or is she heavily involved in the argument?

Indeed, what it basically comes down to is that this is an important internal matter about the future of the planet and they aren't really sure what relevance you have to it.

Bear with us, Iffa and Tilulla! These Jedi types are doing this the... considered/careful way, it seems...

(Very tactfully considerate phrasing there. Thanks! ) 👆 👆

Aye, perhaps we should suggest this matter could do with an uninvolved third party? We can give our opinions without any personal attachments which may help settle the debate.

Heh. No worries. I buy another net gun in addition to my tracers.

Not many governments are in the business of letting visiting randoms arbitrate vital policy choices for them. You'll need a better pitch.

Watchers of the Republic? Y'know, like they have in the UN for the Red Cross?

They don't give a damn for the Republic.

Perhaps Vera-Kin could tell them about her vision. Unlike when she tried that on Alura, the Ladies of Thalos would most likely understand better.

Sure, but they are not here to discuss your visions; they seem very busy.

Of course. Vera-Kin will, in short, tell them that she had a vision that indicates to her that it is important for the Jedi to stay and hear the debate at hand, for they would not have come to the Assembly had they not stayed to help Thea.

Did we ever get any vague idea on what they are/were talking about?

Nah. But I think we'll accept Vera's pitch here.

What they are debating is a prophecy. Some years ago, one of their Seers had a great and powerful vision of the future- but sadly has been almost entirely unable to remember it. The Assembly only has vague clues as to what to go on. But what they do know is that what they decide to do will have extreme consequences for Thalos, one way or the other.

Since it's about a prophecy, perhaps we should suggest to be "helpers" in trying to understand the prophecy? We have some of those in the Jedi lore, no?

Can we pick up on any of the vague bits of the prophecy?

Interesting, fitting that a vision convinced a bulk of us to stay and now that we have we find ourselves analyzing another vision.

Are we able to get a transcript of what the seer did remember in the vision?

Gallagher is certainly interested as well.

They get why you are interested... but why should they risk letting you see? You may be in a position to affect the outcome and that could bounce very badly for them. Thalos are isolationists. Why should they trust you?

"The Force gave us reason to stay here and see this," Vera-Kin says. "Perhaps we are meant to be part of this prophecy, or at least to assist you with it. Otherwise we would have already fled the planet."

Trust us? Since we arrived here all we have wanted to do is help the people of Thalos.

We freed Thea's wrongfully imprisoned Ladies in Waiting, we were there to protect Thea while she addressed the assembly. We could have just simply left Thea, one of the Ladies of this assembly, to her own fate. But we didn't.

Hasn't that earned us enough trust to show we do care about the fate of this planet and it's people?

No, they think you did it to save your own skin.
