"With respect, Master Jedi, that is just scare mongering. Your prey is not a goddess and she cannot simply act is if our security forces do not exist. I think your time would be better spent searching for her."

"What if she doesn't physically attack the records? Some kind of virus unleashed into your networks may do the job for her," Wentar suggests.

I don't suppose I could do a fix it roll to understand what kind of physical and virtual weaknesses a crystalline based computer system has? Fix it 1 Int 4.

You'd need time to look at the system.

Are we talking too much time to be any use here or that anyone who gets tasked with it will be tied up and be unable to do anything else for awhile?

Both- your delay at Thalos means your time-taking options are extremely limited.

Ahhh, so the consequence of staying on Thalos finally rears its head.

Katai must have gotten her information on what she's looking for from somewhere, maybe if we follow that rain of thought we can narrow down what vault she's after.

"Have you had any recent security breeches or information leaks?" Wentar asks.

Nope!

Bleh. Are there people who know whats inside multiple vaults? Not clients, but staff members who manage various vaults or something?

You would guess some of the Telanians, but remember their entire culture is dedicated to this thing.

Xeth wants to seek some legal authority to coordinate and give orders to the Telanian security forces, as a preemptive way to cover ourselves should we need to utilize and instruct them.

Thinking about narrowing down the vaults by contents... Old and ancient have been discredited. But what about antique as a descriptive term? Or is that whole general area of description thinking completely useless?

The security forces will hear what you have to say but you re not in a position to give them orders.

And you've not asked about old/ancient.

Right! I got confused or something...

Anyway!

"Another thing in common with the objects Katai is after is that they are very old items, practically ancient," Wentar says. "Would that help to narrow down the search?"

"Yes, the others said that," says the aide. "The trouble is, that's not very helpful. We don't necessarily know the precise age of what is stored- nor do the owners. Some things are marked as being old, but I would say it is a certainty that there are many old things in there that are not marked as such.

"We can rule out anything that is definitively marked as being recent, but that's about it. And that doesn't rule out any particular area of the Repository."

Iffa via the comms would suggest that Katai must have known about the artefacts location for some time; so recent or new vaults should be discarded.

Gallagher would be happy to see if his Intuition turns up anything if you guys can narrow it down enough.

We've gone for tiny and ancient and been in place for awhile, what other qualities can we come up with for Katai's targets?

Well, at this poit events are overtaking you.

Tilulla's droid indicates it is seeing sensor anomalies on 37 separate areas of the Repository.

Bleh!

How many of those area's match the area's we've narrowed down with 'small, ancient and been in place for awhile'?

Ignoring ancient, obviously.

About half.

Okay, so that's something.

Are the areas close together or spread out over the planet?
