No, that's all, and just pass on the assurance that the FRA will pass.

Now, what's the plan?

Well, we need to find out exactly where the ship that the Senators are confined to is located. From there, we need to get to Holnex and do some recon to see what the situation is and start plotting how we're going to rescue them.

We should deliver the message to Vodon as soon as we get there.

No, Palpatine was clear0 rescue the Senators first. It's risky to be confronting the unions whilst they still have their hostages, and far harder to rescue those hostages once the unions are alerted.

I won't be able to post till sunday

Then we should probably do both at the same time, more or less... We split into two groups, one to handle the political side, the other to handle the rescue of the senators. Or would that be a bad idea... Come to think of it, how many of us are there?

I am not a fan of having to rescue the senators first. Its going make our negotiating with the unions incredibly awkward/difficult.
Doing it at the same time makes us look even worse. It would make us look underhanded.
But I suppose we have to do what we have to do.
Our plan is going to be dependent on the senators and their location/situation. But it should be a quick, in and out, no killing type of deal. Mind tricking and stuff like that.
Do we have any idea where they are being held?

In their ship.

To be fair, it WOULD be impossible to do it second. Once they know you are there you have lost control. They might quintuple the guard, move them, or even use them as hostages to force you into something.

OK, so then the goal is going to be. Get onto the ship, and make an escape.
Do we know if they have any sort of anti-air defenses? They are a kinda backwater planet right? If they don't have any defenses, we can just fly the ship away. We do have to overtake the guards and things, but we should be able to that non-lethally, or through diplomacy. Hopefully diplomacy.

So my suggestion for a plan is this:
We land as close to their ships as we can, while remaining hidden. We attempt to get onboard the senators ship without being seen, we then free the senators, and escape in their ship. Then from orbit, we contact the union, and offer to talk. If we can figure out a way to get dropped off, rather than land our ships it would be best. That way we could transfer back onto our own ships and let the senators head back while we stick around and talk to the unions.

Well you can assume that a planet does have anti-air defences, but the world is not under any sort of organised blockade; it is mostly descending into chaos.

Palpatine needs you to deliver the message in person.

Ah ok, well we can either stay behind and talk to the unions, or contact them and ask to talk, then deliver the message.

Why not simply liberate the senators and put them under our guard? Are we specifically supposed to extricate them, or can they stay to do their job once we free them and settle things down a bit? Otherwise we'll have to work to temporarily neutralize the local air defenses.
The rescue will effective annouce our arrival, and our doing it sans bloodshed will signal that we are here to enfore the laws, and are ready to negotiate. Jedi style, beginning to end.

Thats a good point. I was thinking of getting them out of there so we wouldn't have to deal with trying to keep them protected, but I like your plan better.

Well, it's time to get going. I need a transport plan from you guys!

(Andro will stand at the spaceport and stick his thumb out.)

well, perhaps some of us should arrive at the spaceport as travellers, just to cover that part if it gets used to transport the senators away or something?

I have expressed myself extremely lousy.

I mean that "arrive, board, save" is rather straightforward and sounds like an inevitable fight coming up. Perhaps a sneakier way is necessary?

We could disguise ourselves as Union workers those going in to save the senators.

Some of you will be better at such a thing than others. We do need a plan for the group as a whole, even if you have to split your approach.

However, I still need to know how you guys are getting there!

Non-Jedi transport is our best bet, maybe freighters or transports. Are they blocking freighter (such as cargo) traffic?

There's no blockade; it is too chaotic.
