"How dare you speak to the Senator like that!" says the droid. "You will address all queries to him through me so I can translate. The Senator requires your name for when he takes this matter up with the Jedi Council."

Unfortunately, Denz, that all goes through the comms room.

Since the droid has opened the door, I immediately move into the room. I don't want him to close it again.

With permission of Vera, I can switch off the comm?

Then you can indeed move a ship, Iffa- the problem is that the ship docks are all in enemy hands on the ground.

"Fine." Andro addresses the droid, calmly this time. "You heard what I said, translate it. And while you're at it, let his Honor know that if we suspect he is endangering this mission, he will be restrained.... For his safety, and the others'. He is to refrain from any and all comm traffic that is not approved by one f our team. You can tell him Jedi Knight Andro Fenris says so..."

The droid confers with Nebb for a minute.

"Nebb thanks you. He also wishes me to inform you that he expects you to be censured by the Senate within the next week and relieved of your duties, as a result of your unprovoked threats against a senator.

"Unless, of course, you wish to apologise for these outrages."

I'll nod to Andro, like a sign to apolegise.

Senator's an ass, but better be on his "good side" just in case we have to get him to swim...

"I'd stuff him in an airlock until we can figure out whats going on... if only we had that luxury." Denz grins (on the bridge).

"Nebb is an ass" belongs in the same boom as "sun rises in morning."

He is also why this was not a good story for Renegades...

"Best to apologize, Andro," Vera-Kin says, incredibly aggravated.

Is there any way we could get the transmission to play back?

If you had time alone with the transmitter, maybe. But you have no particular grounds.

Andro raises his hands palms out, fingers splayed, "Certainly, I don't mean to offend the good Senator," he starts, trying to keep his tone this side of patronizing. "I apologize. Please kindly inform him that the Jedi sent here to protect him... Respectfully... request that he check with us before making any tranmissions from the ship. As a matter of security."

"Well then," says the droid, "we need say no more about it all..."

Well, that's one awkward diplomatic situation. But what's going on with our message delivery duo?

"I should think it would mean a great lot to you," Jelena says. "Why seek war with us when the Chancellor is doing everything he can to make things right with you and yours?"

Jelena is keenly aware of the fact that if they do not talk their way out of this, they will be kept prisoner for Vodon's use.

Also, war seems to be possibly the worst idea for Vodon. He wants to get aid from the senate, or at least want the passage of the FRA and he proposed to do that by starting a war with them? Doesn't add up.
