USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (LIGHT SIDE)- Harmony

Started by Jedireaper328 pages

I'll have Reflection and Orthodox guard on, but I'll use my ship as cover, and use Gunslinger and my blaster pistol temporarily, to try and keep their heads down. The fighter is good as cover? Okay describe the rooftop to me please? "Frag! This is Denz; If anyone's not too busy dying, I could do with some assistance here!"

No answer on comms.

Behind your ship with your pistol it is!

This is wide open metallic roof about half the size of a football (soccer) pitch. Other, higher buildings around it are the source of the walkways. It does not look like that this roof was meant to be generally accessible as there are no immediately obvious ways inside, though there is an emergency stairwell leading down at the far side.

Meanwhile, a special rule for this fight...

Converging Destinies

Far out, but not quite as far out as you guys- but in the same quadrant, so it happens- the Dark Siders have also found their arrival anticipated- and unwelcome. The world they are on is full of murderers and psychopaths that all have an interest in killing the new arrivals, and whilst these criminals are only armed with tools and improvised gear, the Dark Siders are armed with nothing at all.

Initiative rolls and schtick refreshes for the following combat will apply the same to both Light and Dark Side

Okay, if things get tense, I just had a good idea, and I hope it works. How high up am I?

I am very retarded at the flight combat things ...but why not open up the scrap metal things and get the missles to hit that? Worked for Obi-Wan in episode 3...

In the city, I will go into the city and try to find the biggest dome I can find.
"Blast. Remind me to teach you how to take care of a ship, if we don't get blown to pieces. Help me find this big dome..."

Vlad's going to look for a safe place to land, some area of the defensive grid which is sort of a blind spot for the missiles and the turrets.

Is there anything that doesn't look like it's full of people? Maybe Xeth can let the missiles slam into a power coupling or something.

Jelena is going to try something like a park or a field below her so that her crash landing is not simply in the streets of the city. If she cannot, she is going to simply aim for an open street. She wants to avoid hitting civilians.

Expanding on this. Would I actually just lose the missiles if they overshot me like I am planning to do?

Also, Jovan's suggestion, is that possible? Ditching spare parts or scrap or whatever from the ship and having it detonate the missiles?

And just in case- if Xeth gets the opportunity to land or has to go crashing down, he is also going to go for a roof, like Denzral. If Xeth gets to choose where he lands, he is going to land with Denzral!

Xeth, Trying to make them hit something is what killed Jelena. The missiles seem to just be able to hop right over/around stuff like that...

Are there any billboard like structures around that I could evade the missile into? Shouldn't be any people there.

Holy crap. Don't try to fly the missile into things, Jelena learned that the hard way. Evade it, or fly into the city, but don't try to make the missile hit things.

How else can we shake them inside the city?

By just outflying them or something.
Or doing what Gallagher said, which is flying behind the biggest Dome. But I don't see the dome, so we have to find it.

Alrighty then... I'll try out flying it, somehow. Evasive twists and turns through the city, preferably through a less populated looking area, maybe the industrial areas or something.

As for the dome... I have no idea where to start there.

Can Vlad do a scan on the city to find a dome
similiar to what Gallagher found?

Sorry for delays- last week of term, hence busy busy.

Why would you look for a dome, Vlad? Observation to spot out a good landing area though.

-

Not that high up, Denz- ten stories?

-

Jelena- going for a park. Got it! All you can do now is rely on your Pilot roll

-

Xeth- you can always try fancy manoeuvres to lose a missile; it is just a style touch to the Pilot roll. OR you can try the junk drop. Up to you.

-

Wentar is going to try and lose it in the industrial area! He will need a Pilot roll as well.

-

Roan- well, then I need to know how you are losing the missile in order to find this mystical dome!

I hope for the junk drop, at least then it sounds I actually did something

You know what? Yes, I'm going to go with the junk drop as Xeth races into the city, hoping to catch both missiles out with it.

I'll fire towards the walkway.
