USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (DARK SIDE)- The Prisoner of Datura

Ush - I can't tell from the kills made or anything, but judging by the powers and stuff, you may have forgotten Dak's SF tap?

--

Kai is right - if we can't get people over the bridge and enough of the defenders taken out, then blocking the door won't do us any good. They'll just remove the block. And while those of us that made our flying leap over are awesome, we're slightly less awesome while saberless.

Anyway, Rianna will smash down another of the defenders.

It was my understanding there's no difference if one of us lifts it or they carry it?

But I do agree, can Azarl and I perhaps lift the bridge fast into place and Rand takes the block alone for now?

I think the point is that getting the bridge placed needs to happen before placing the block.

Sounds like a good idea, Con.

Swap Dodge & Weave in for Power Attack to go out. I should have Duck, D&W, and a tapped Impervious in.

Galder will kill someone else with the girder, one of the Defenders.

Swap WS in for the tapped SF. Dak goes axey on the first mooks he sees.

Xavier shall tap SF this turn trying to break two of the defenders.

Azarl will leave Rand to lift the door block alone, joining Con in levitating the bridge into place so that their thugs can bring out their shields and get ready to cross.

The essence of Kai's plan is to free up the men carrying the bridge- he thinks they should go in now whilst the archers are distracted.

That works for me.

I don't quite get it, why free the thugs up can they actually do anything or is it just so they are not prime targets for the archers? Or can they cross the trench by themselves, cause otherwise i don't understand what the thugs can do atm besides carrying the bridge.

SF tap- is a response to being attacked! They didn't get to do that yet due to initiative.

Yes, his worry is that they'll be shot down at this speed.

Ahh, okay, does two of us lifting help in that case getting the bridge there faster?

How many have we actually lost, though? They've gotten very little damage through to us, unless I'm entirely mistaken we've only lost one thug.

At two, if you roll well it might even move faster than they were.

Raaar, your post went through same time as mine, not sure if you saw what I posted.

The bridge thugs are unshielded!

Then we should continue doing that. The way it looks the block is quite far already so Rand doing it alone for one or two turns may be a good way to go to get our people catching up.

Here's some ideas I think we should discuss.

Our force people should do what we just said Azarl and I take the bridge and try to install it as fast as possible, when that's done we concentrate all on getting the block forward again.

We should have all our forces advance and our force guys should always keep up or be ahead of the floating block so that doesn't get stopped.

I think our defensive people can start approaching now, too

Ush, can Con make out with his observation how many turns it will take for the door to close and how many doors it would take for the block to reach the door at the speed it has with all three of us (and maybe even, though I guess he hasn't seen that if only Rand does it)?

Yeah, getting the bridge in place quickly and getting the thugs to use their shields is our real advantage here.

Is it Push/Pull or Lifting to get my shield back, Ush?

You'd say about five or six turns, Con? You couldn't swear to it. At full speed, the block was moving one section per turn.

Heavy enough to need a Lift and some time I am afraid, Galder.
