USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (DARK SIDE)- The Prisoner of Datura

Started by Bardock42438 pages

Collection of our moves so far

Rianna: Attack defender

Con: Lift the Bridge, Co-ordination, move up further

Galder: Swap in D&W for Power Attack, attack defender

Dak: Swap WS in for SF, attack mook.

Xavier: Tap SF, attack two mooks (does that work?)

Azarl: Lift the Bridge

Relle Shoot archers, ditch shield, move up

Rah: Join Psychos in killing

Rand: - (though I suppose he'll continue lifting as he has before)

Should we have all of our army and our passive people advance now though?

And I forgot Gallador, what's he doing?

Consider him to be a 'passive person.'

Let's hold our civilians back this turn... we'll see how things are going in the next.

When the brunt of lifting the door block is left to Rand, he struggles more with it but attempts to show no outward sign but for using both hands and closing his eyes to concentrate.

We will have to wait a little bit here on the grounds of Jedi incompetence.

2-2 switches initiative back to you, which is about as good as you could have wanted it!

A kill for Relle! But not one for Rianna, I am afraid.

Galder does though! Girder kill!

Dak- using knives, not the awkward-to-draw-axe, gets an easy kill.

And Xavier gets an insanely good roll that counteracts all the crap rolls he got last time.

Chunn has jumped down into the trench, and Kai is moving up; Orikan goes with him. The bridge thugs are freed and move up also!

Bad guys! One more volley from the archers at the distracty group before they get so totally swamped by defenders as to be too crowded to shoot at. You all then get swarmed with a maximum of four attacks on each of you. This is, of course, an insane amount of enemies to take on- did you perhaps forget that the entire point was to bring the ARMY across the trench? There are four of you. Count the defenders who will now concentrate entirely on you. Your slow shield advance was fine. Why blow it?

The defenders are knife armed, btw, and in the insane melee you are racking up damage like crazy. Xavier gets his SF kill though!

Is the Bridge installed now?

No; it must be lowered in.

We probably can't hop back across the trench, can we?

I see, can one of us do that alone?

That's a disengagement, of course.

Con- yup!

I am also confused as to why Lifting is needed for pulling our shields to us. They are clearly objects we're able to easily carry around ourselves, after all...

They are taller than you are. That's WAY beyond Push/Pull. P/P is for small objects; anything heavy enough to HALVE your speed is clearly not in that domain.

Alright, Con will drop his shield then, lift the bridge in place, use co-ordination and advance to the next level. I suggest Azarl helps Rand again.

I think if I use lift I can't attack in the turn, right? Potentially though if I used dash, could I attack next turn?

[edit] Sorry, I meant next turn.

...those are giant pieces of metal, all at least six feet tall then...I didn't realize that they were that large.

I said pavise shields! Why do you think they slowed you?

No literally with Lift, but generally it makes you too busy to also attack, yes.

And yes, though remember it's only two over the bridge at a time.

You have giant Roman Phalanx shields! WOo! (Except you dropped them to go all viking stabby but without the hallucinogenic...)

Couldn't I jump though?

Indeed you can!

Like I have any clue what that means!
