Actually, Ush, is the amount of money involved high enough that it would lure Dark Jedi to steal it? Being thieves would be simpler story than being assasins.

I quess contacting some of Rivas`s enemies is not plausible move? If after escaping Datura we return for our lightsabres, we could a chance to assasinate Rivas himself.

What was Kuylen doing there, is it likely he was trying to take over? Is Dark Jedi taking over planets outside Republic not something that happened in history?

It's a big galaxy. Hard to keep track of wehat happens outside the Republic.

Well, Trax selling us out sounds like a good idea, it actually sounds like a plan that we can follow and that would work.

Trax says that turning in villains for a reward when you are in cahoots with the villains is an old scam. The trick is normally about how to free the villains again, but if you guys WANT go get into jail, well then...

So Trax will contact the authorities at the point we are killing the tax payer, right?

Yup. He reckons he can get a good price if he waits until you kill him.

So it seems as our plan is getting fleshed out...

About the getting to the taxpayer part - do we know how tight is spaceport security on Selene? I assume they would not put us through the individual interviews like the Bureau did on Newhaven. Would taxpayers from other worlds in Tregana Void be subkect to taxing in the capital itself?

Specifics on the security will have to wait until you check the place out. You reckon it will be lousy at the spaceport compared to a planet where the Bureau is though.

I like the idea of having Trax drop us off and selling us out. He drops us off, waits a bit, tips off the local police, and then takes off as we attempt to make our 'escape'. It's a simple plan (which is always good for us) and will look realistic. It'd be hard to mess up, too, since it really doesn't rely on us doing anything other than what we normally do. The fact that half of us would normally never surrender for anything and likely will be pissed about it will also make it look more real.

Plus hey, if Trax gets some cash for turning us in, even better. Extra money is always good.

As for why we're on Selene - we've been off-world and needed to return to pay the taxes. I'm sure that sort of thing happens. That's assuming they even ask what we're doing there.

You are also pretty good at lying, so it's not so much an issue. What could get us into trouble is if one of our less dishonestly-abled members gets questioned and screws up. Though it doesn't sound like it will be an issue here. And if we get questioned it would likely be one on one not as a group.
