Well, so we should brainstorm on what to do there.a) when we arrive what is our cover story, how do we get to a large government event
b)how do we kill the tax collector, do we do anything else while there?
c) how do we get believably captured.
a) how about a bold one, like being representatives of a pirate clan who wants to ally with Rivas and has gifts for him? Or we could go for simple merchants.
b) I am not sure we time to do anything else, and I suggest killing him just as he finished collecting taxes.
c) This is the hardest point, it seems that we would have to try to escape the planet to be believable. Ush, do we know what naval defences of Selene? For example, do they have shield generator and a fleet there?
a)I don't see the pirate clan working. Perhaps we could pretend to be tax payers? With your subterfuge that might work.
b) Well what I am worried about is how to get to them, I don't know I just imagine a huge mass of people and amongst them a thrall of security guards. But I guess we can't do much more than try to get to him and kill him.
and for c) I don't even know how we would make our escape, the way Ush explained it we would be in the middle of a huge plaza surrounded by thousands of people, unless we kill every security or police force that is there, how would we even escape? I thought surrendering seemed good, but there would have to be a believable reason.

Well, pretending to be taxpayers would certainly give us means to get close to the tax insector, so maybe the simple solution is the best.... question is if they don`t have every single taxpayers in their databases...And why we surrender.... maybe we want to get close to Rivas to assasinate him?
That's what I was wondering, but I suppose with your subterfuge you could maybe get us through anyways.
And well my idea was that we pretend to be rebels, who just want to kill the taxcollecter as a sign, so once he is dead it would be perfectly reasonable for us to surrended. And I figured it would also make Rivas likely to throw us on datura, to send a sign to any rebels we might inspire.

This rebel thing would make more sense if we knew of actual rebel group that opposes Rivas, though.....

Yeah, but it doesn't seem likely that we find one in the 2 or three hours we have on Selene.
Besides we are 10 people, we are a perfectly find rebel group ourselves, haha.

I think we should simply feign being tax payers. I doubt they check everyone in line as they are waiting.Rand thinks we should simply kill everyone until they bring enough force against us to stop us, and tell them that our end goal is murdering the Emperor and taking over the Void...
Don't you think the risk of death is a bit too high with that plan? I agree with the first part however.
umm... i just wanted to let you gusy know im here, im just a bit lost, and dont know what to say. eh... i jsut didn't want to be marked out from the rp.

Haron observed as the two women entered the hideout. (or whatever it is) He has been observing the people who live there for quite some time now, and doesn't want to miss his chance to get off this rock. Haron would like to try and sneak onto the ship, without being noticed

That would take you quite far away from where the action is.
You should probably stay with the group. Ush's RPG are not really an open world kinda thing anyways, you can more imagine it like a computer game that follows a specific plot.

gah, sorry. well, should i jsut jump in as part of the group?
Sure, lets just say you've been with us for the last 3 weeks.
Did you read the rest of the thread? Basically we have a mission now, we are trying to get thrown into a prison to bust out a very powerful jedi master (for multiple reasons), at the moment we are discussing how to best do that.
Well, we may not yet know the circumstances that saw you fleee the Republic away from the Bureau death squads that are hunting down anyone with force powers out on the fringe, Haron- but one way or another, the Force led you to Epireus and this group of Dark Siders who are doinfg whatever they can ti survive. You need to show you are useful to them, as they have no room for passengers.
You have no idea who those women were- but you sensed something very strange about them. And there was great power there too. You are not sure what this talk of 'Syphar n Kalar' is either, nor what the deal is with this Kuylen person people are going on about- you never really hung around the centre of the galaxy to pick up on news. Still, everyone seems to think it is important that you find the guy.
Anyway. Adelmo and the girl with her are very sharp. You have a feeling that getting on their ship without them knowing may be impossible- and very dangerous for you.

Yes, everyone could go on your ship, Xavier- though I will remind you that tracking is not a problem. That only applies inside the Republic.
Trax will be here, if you want to talk things over with him. He thinks you are all mad.
The real trick is making your surrender convincing. No-one will believe that you just planned to kill the collector and... that's it. Assassins have an escape route.
You can scout out the area a little in advance, sure. But once I give the results of that, meamning we have gone to Selene, there will be a real-time countdown before you are forced into action. Right now there is no time pressure.
