How about Rah goes over quickly on the empty rope, unties it. Then goes over to Chunn and ties it around him to reassure him the others can then gently pull the rope to help him cross. While they do that Rah will go back to the other side, once Chunn is across he will untie the second rope, tie it round his waist and then swing across. This way we if he falls Chunn can be pulled up and also it means we keep both ropes.
If necessary Rah can use his axe to chop through the ropes rather than untying them if the Trogs are too close.
Ok, well, I am putting that plan into operation but the consequence is that Rah is now solo against five trogs...

Well if Rand starts lifting Chunn over, all Rah has to do is untie the rope and jump away with Defensive Leap. It will take two turns total. Azarl and Con could start gripping to spare him attacks and he has Balance to make himself harder to hit while doing his task.
Rand is impressed with Rah's initiative presently.
I can tap Whirling Strike for Rah, but not Dodge and Weave as it is tapped, and as they would just move and attack him anyway (it being your initiative) I won't have him do that. I assume that is an attack on the trogs?
Rocks ineffective I am afraid. We are left with two attacks on Rah... and more Trogs coming!
