You sensed no danger...

... and the figure is not registering to your scan. Suspicious! The figure is not an exotic alien that might be resistant. Only someone trained can be invisible to scans.

So someone adept with the force but doesn't register any danger alrms with Edana. Curious! Edana will head down the alley towards the stranger.

"You're late," comes her voice- a woman's- as you close.

Edana is surprised at the woman's accusation. Does she know who Edana is and had been tracking her knowing she would come this way or has she mistaken her for someone else? If the latter, asking what she was late for would clearly not be a wise move, so Edana decides to play along.

"My apologies. I got held up dealing with a minor annoyance."

"We did arrange things for you. It's not been easy."

we? Edana starts to wonder who on earth these people are and whether they actually do know who Edana is. Given that they appear to be the ones who orchestrated the rather elaborate events in the alleyway probably best not to show her ignorance. Hoping that whomever is behind all this will be revealed in time, Edana continues to play along.

"And I am most impressed and grateful! That crash must have taken some serious planning. So where to now?"

"That depends on your friends," she says.

She is a woman with long, dark hair. Now you see the source of the scattering sound- she throws a large number of small polished stones onto the ground.

"They will be ready soon."

Her friends? Edana presumes she means Galder and his new comrades. "You have heard from them then?"

"Not in some time. They hardly let them send messages from prison."

Satisfied that this woman is clearly an acquaintance of Galder but still confused as to how she knew Edana was coming, unless one of Galder's companions possesses some quite impressive premonition skills, she feels a little more at ease in her company.

Edna looks down at the stones the woman is discarding "What are the pebbles?"

"They give me answers," she says. "People, places, events. Chances."

She looks up at you.

"Why you come, where you would go."

Edn smiles as realisation hits her. "So they told you I was coming. And that I would be chased. Now I see how you planned that crash. A useful skill to have, where did you learn it, if you don't mind me asking?"

"From my home. I didn't make the crash though- I just see things, That is what I was born for. My Lady made that all happen. She made everything happen that you see here. It;s not that difficult to see if you consider it. Everything in the universe is connected. In Harmony. Understand that Harmony and you can affect those connections any way you like.

"My Lady understands Harmony very well. She wants to meet you."

"So whilst I was late, that was not unexpected. Your lady, does she want to meet me now?"

"Best to," says the woman, getting up. She wears long black shawls with deep pockets; she gathers the stones inside. "We need to be gone before the riot subsides, else it was a waste of time."

"Then lead the way" Edna says and makes tp follow the woman wherever she leads. She figures a little conversation en route couldn't do any harm. "My name is Edana by the way, although I guess you already knew that. Your lady is responsible for everything tha has gone on here today? Was that all for my benefit? Or for the benefit of 'my friends' as you put them?"

"Yes, I had heard the name," she says. "The riot was not for you. It's a distraction. We don't like to be noticed."

"Well if your lady wants to meet me then I guess there is no time like the present. I find myself curiously at a loose end. Lead on".

She takes an abrupt right turn.

"The riot will pass ahead of us in about twelve minutes," she says. "We should avoid that. I came out here to find you, despite the risk. In fact we didn't need the riot for what we came for, but the added protection was easy enough to arrange. It will only kill just over a thousand people- not enough to make any noticeable difference to things."

She is silent for a while as you take a very extended route; she seems to go in almost random directions.

"What do you feel you were born to do?" she asks you.

Edana almost halts as she ponders that question. Is this woman for real? She feels like she has stepped into some alternate reality. She does however consider the question. "Honesty, I really don't know. I knew as a child that I wasn't meant for the life I born into and I guess I have been trying to find my true prupose ever since. What do you think I was born to do?"
