Psst - The mulit hyper-satelite transponders may need to be moved in their crates to somewhere else....

Oh yes, we also have some equipment that needs to be installed near the roof, which is close to the Throne Room, right?

You are through these guards; that's not the issue, The issue is the great difficulty in bringing the crates up into the throne room; other guards will stop you.

Well, wouldn't it be enough to bring the crates the part of the palace that is remotely close to the Throne Room? We can always make some distraction.

Well, let's hear it! And how do you plan to meet up with the others?

Are you waiting on Team Sneaky People for anything in particular? Relle is happy to continue with her sneaky moves through the back of the palace.

We can try to talk our way through. Gallador can explain that some of the equipment needs to be installed in the throne room, and we'd like to start there. Mind Trick if needed.

It's really just the rendezvous for team sneaky.

We will try to take the boxes to some kind of storage room which is closest to the Throne Room. We can spend more force points on powers like Mind Trick and Illusion.

Also, if guards will take the issue to someone in charge, it will mean Throne Room, so we will get close anyway...

The crates you are moving around are very large and you do not know the location of any storage rooms. Dragging those around, you will be stopped almost every minute.

Okay, then how about we bring the boxes to the comms at the basement, then we steal uniforms of the mainteance personnel or something like this. Also, Gallador and others with proper force powers and skills can try to do some sabotage, like damaging the power supplying machines in the Palace, so we have distraction to reach the Throne Room.

perhaps you could 'persuade' someone, a palace servant or a serving droid, to act as our guide to gain directions to where we need to be.

Sabotage is tricky without the skill Sabotage; Fix-It can be used but not as well and for so much.

Gallador's plan is not impossible. Actually there are all sorts of things you can do; what you cannot really do is just bring the boxes to the throne room.

No need to get the way there! It's at the top, and the others have been there before.

What about duping one of the guards into escorting us up to the throne room, so that we do not get stopped?

You'd be going past too many other guards for a single dupe to work.

So we have the pretend to be palace personal and let our talky guys get us through.

So far that seems like the best one I've heard.

Any other ideas?

We could pretend to be delegates from some other place heading to the throne room to meet the emperor. I'm sure even he deals with them at some point. Perhaps a good Save-Faire roll could get us some good places to have delegates or officers come from. Maybe act like we got lost on the way to the Throne room, I'm sure it happens.

Sorry, due to real life issues I am not as active as I would like to be.

So I understand that at this point we got access to the comms facility near the basement. Stealing uniforms and pretending to be personnel sounds reasonable, maybe there some kind of side entrances for the maintance personnel - like everyone uses elevators, but there are also stairs, for example.

There are no unobserved entrances into the throne room itself, it being such a large, open and public area. Getting there unnoticed is Intrusion.

(Note your Epireans basically make an unseen move impossible)

-

Talking of Intrusion- where the the sneaky people at ths point in time?

Can Rah use Fix-It to rig a malfunction of the palace comms? It would be useful if our prey/throne room guards were not able to call for back up when we strike. Might not give us much breathing space but anything is better than nothing when we make our escape break!

You cannot shut off the guards' comms as they are individual, like mobile phone.
