USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (DARK SIDE)- The Prisoner of Datura

Not a bad idea. We've already fluffed it with them since we have the holsters in plain sight. Would that be acceptable to ditch the holsters, Ush?

Sure, though carrying no weapons at all also looks odd.

And we probably couldn't 'find' staffs at this point... we should have thought about that...

All role-playing issues look easy in hindsight.

We could explain that we left our weapons in the armory.

Speaking of weaponry, what does J6 use?

Relle will keep egging the fight on until she is satisfied that things are getting messy and the guards are distracted.

"Go for the cases," Relle says to Rianna and Dak. "I'll handle this."

Are the guards sufficiently distracted that Relle could slip a gun off of one?

And is there enough of a distraction that we could reasonably slip over to the cases?

That both of you forgot your weapons is stretching it too far, I think.

J6 carries blasters.

Rianna- certainly now with Intrusion rolls!

Let's Intrude, then.

Yes, let's go for it.

That kind of limits our ability to pose as guards. Maybe we could retrieve one from the armory?

Well, that means breaking into the armoury! That IS going to be well defended.

Plus, y'know, we're kind of about to make our moves here 😛

Not worth it, I don't think, Rand.

If they can come up with a convincing reason for not having their electro-staffs, would it be acceptable?

It doesn't actually have to be electrostaffs; only the very top guys get those. However, without prepping for the 'pretend to be guards' approach that is rather moot.

I don't think there is a plausible reason why they would both be unarmed.

Dak, Rianna- in place!

I feel like somebody in this group brought melee weapons. I might be thinking of the Retro games...

I'm holding off for New Year, but it seems I am waiting on folks anyway!

(There is a REALLY simple answer to the issue of having two guards simultaneously forget their weapons, btw. It makes other aspects harder but you are better placed to deal with them)

(And remember that THIS guard needs bypassing anyway, though a Persuade spend will do it)

Simple answer for guards not having weapons? Either were stolen, or they got drunk and lost them.

Rivas' personal guards ave higher standards; you may be able to explain away one but both at once not having weapons is to much.

We gave our weapons for maintenance are are about to take them back?
