Gallador wil explain that openiig the boxes may have an adverse effect on the gifts inside and we really do not want it

Rand wants to try Intimidating them as his superior, saying that he's handling the situation and that they should back off if they don't want to catch hell for interrupting his task.

With a Charisma of 5, an Intimidation of 3, and Presence and Leadership, he should be able to dominate them just fine.

Galder waits tensely. He is ready to spring his blaster arm at any moment.

When the guards say that they want to look into the box, Rand steps in front of Gallador.

"That won't be necessary," Rand says sharply. "This is MY task, and you are wasting MY time. This was supposed to get to the Emperor ten minutes ago, and I've already cleared everything. Step aside or there'll be hell to pay."

We shall make the roll and... the guard backs down! Ok folks, you are through!

Rand sneers, but does not linger on the encounter. He moves past with Gallador and the crates, heading toward the throne room and hoping that they are not delayed any further.

Could Relle try to get them going again? Or are the guards distracted enough for her to pull a gun away from someone?

Well possibly in theory Relle... but now things are changing, as attention is starting to be paid to the new group entering the room; a big load of Epireans, led by two others, carrying a number of large crates...

"About time they turned up..." Rianna whispers to Dak.

"Time for us to go to work, then?" he whispers back.

"Should probably wait until they've sprung their 'gift'...don't want to start the fighting quite yet," Rianna replies.
