Azarl will swap MA for Charge.

"J7! Help me!" Azarl shouts to his droid, before trying to deck Pikeman P in the face.

Actually, since my Droid tends to be fickle, Azarl will yell for help in an obscure alien language to get his attention and assistance.

Xavier will bring in MA this turn.
Tap SF if close enough to be in melee range of two guards and he can't get close enough.

Xavier goes towards the nearest guard the first one to shoot at him if close enough he will push the barrel our of the way bringing a knee into the guys rib cage then he sweep around a kick into the next closest guard break his knee before snapping his neck.

In addition to Galder's move against Staffman, he shouts to Rura.

"Don't you dare!" Galder shouts, grinding his mace against the staff. "I can't have my friend backing out now! Remember, I'm bank-rolling you after this!"

Gallador will strike at the guards near him, relieved that he finally has his saber.

He already took half- he's not an idiot.

Those in the upper viewing gallery west cannot move as they are blocked by enemies? It seems that they are not going to get their sabres in time. I wonder if argument that he is too covardly to fight us all with sabres will fly with Rivas.

Well a lot of them are locked in melee, yes. And more enemies are approaching south and east of them.

2-6 finally brings your initiative run to an end, and perhaps not at an ideal time.

This leaves the same firers up at those to the north as before, clearing the last of the crowd and giving four attackers on each. That brings Gallador perilously close to dropping...

The West now becomes a melee nightmare as the next lot of attackers turn up and immediately divide themselves amongst targets. Rand finds himself up against the other Staffman. A wisely tapped Galder stays safe, ducking and jumping over his foes' attacks; the rest of you are taking heavy damage... and THEN we still have twenty five firers and no more people to get in the way. Two attacks on each and more on those less melee engaged.

At the cases, Relle's dram comes true as her foe rolls 4, 4, 4, 3 which means he misses, gets his weapon chopped off, and then rolled a total of 15 to get Riposted and killed. Rianna gets better served by her Ward and is entirely missed. Dak is still taking hefty hits from that bloody staffman though...

Well, no-one's dropped so at least you get your say on the matter this turn.

Con, sensing opportunity, dashes down the large stairs and shoots dead two guards he finds amongst the thinning crowds. Xavier and Gallador take down one a piece above him.

Dak and Rianna begin their dance of death as Dak flips away from his foe and neatly cuts down two guards. Rianna then takes his place, dealing an impressive 13 damage to him, and I'll rule that Relle can use her planned action to attack him as well, finishing him. One down! The fight here, at least, goes well.

J7 would love to help you, Azarl, and is not 100% efficient against mooks but I cannot ignore the fact that your allies are under considerable gunfire and are more motivated to save themselves. Both he and Rura are trying to thin those damn guard numbers. Azarl is trying to defend himself as Galder fights back with his mace. Rah's action gets held (remember to use it!) and Rand goes for a Fling of awesome, inflicting ten damage and sending one of his enemies rolling down the stairs to the location below, where he will have to pick himself up.

Your Epireans fight back as best they can! Their axes have something to say about a close up fight, at least.

Sorry, I overrated your Epirean's combat pools at first there- adjusted down. The Ep-mooks should only have a six as well, as melee attackers have a lower pool not benefiting from burst fire (b t they do more damage and have a * rating, which they used to hack the guards to death)

EDIT- Pike P is dead as a dodo due to a sudden Force Attack by a concealed Edana.
