USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (DARK SIDE)- The Prisoner of Datura

Started by HereticalDruid438 pages

No, I'll save the retroactive spend, since V was just getting a pike and not attacking.

Still inquiring about whether a PS tap would stack, though.

It does not.

Since one is chasing me, and I'm going to guess that it's I because I hit him already, Xavier attack the other one!

If we get initiative, Dak kicks the staff up off the floor and into his hands, turning and launching back into Lower North to viciously jab the electrified end into Staff I's chest. Swap in DU for CL. Blow a point on Evade for defense.

If they get initiative, ignore the staff for now, Evade, then swap in ForGu and tap it hard as Dak turns the Staffman's rhino charge into a lesson in humility.

Well if that's the case Xavier goes and attacks the one not after Dak, helping to free up Edna to save Gallador

It's a whole action to pick up the staff though Dak.

Okay, so if we get initiative I'll do what Galder suggests:

Swap in CoC for Eagle Eye, tap it, and shoot the guards in the south, spend lucky to make sure as many as can go dead. Also use Ward.

Now, if they get initiative, I was thinking I could do this:

Drop the blaster and get out my sabre. Swap in charge for Eagle Eye, tap OGu and charge and attack one of the staffmen before anything else. Also use Ward.

Does that make any sense?

Just.

Shoot.

Guards.

There are too many of them still standing and they will destroy us. Don't worry about the melee guys! We have to take down those guards ASAP!

You and your rules.

in that case:

Ignore the staff for now, Evade, and swap in ForGu and tap it hard as Dak turns the Staffman's rhino charge into a lesson in humility.

And since Rex keeps saying I have them, does Dak have his pair of swords? It's been so long since we equipped ourselves for this suicide mission, and I assume it'll be in your notes somewhere.

I sort of get the feeling that you guys want me to shoot guards or something. You really should be more clear about this sort of stuff, but I'll go with my hunch.

So my move is just this I suppose:

Swap in CoC for Dodge and Weave, tap it, and shoot the guards in the lower south, spend lucky to make sure as many as can go dead. Also use Ward.

Lower South, remember, not Floor South 😄

Yes, that's what copy paste gets me!

If that is your normal combat weapon, Dak, then yes! But still a turn to draw them.

Btw, I've been treating Twin Weapons as +2 defence against melee only; I must get that clarified with my brother.

It does not.

Sad times.

Though I am wondering is that really the best thing to do for me, cause if they get initiative I'll be going down most likely without doing anything, no?

Maybe should I swap in Eye of the Storm to have some protection, plus the ward if they get initiative. I mean I could only shoot one guard then, but better than doing a Xavier, right?

Good to know, Ush.

Oh and add a Flurry into that ForGu + Evade combo.

I thought your original 'if they get initiative' move was good, getting out your lightsaber but instead going after the guards. You could do some taps to stay up or even Charge to attack first.

You've still got a bunch of Force points left - don't forget about Ward 😛

Then I'll lose the chance to tap CoC though, that's why it's not ideal I think.

Dying in the first round of an assault, then serving as a backpack!

😛

Xavier is currently in a dreamlike state where the fight is nearing its end stages yet he is still up.
