With the staff on his back Xavier will help move as many of the down Eperians as he can out of the throne room.

You could always just leave them Xavier. They will only slow us down

'twas not a sneaky entrance, Rianna- it was merging with the crowds.

So one advantage you ave here is that there is a panicked stampede out there, but order is going to be restored at some point. Meanwhile, the throne room is going to be toast but the fuel has now spread as far as it is going to, so it is not as if the whole palace is going up.

So how suicidal would it be to slip out into the panicked stampede?

Unfortunately the stampede has proceeded you- note there was no-one else left alive at th end there.

Btw, there are hundreds of dead bodies here. You killed over a hundred armed guys, but at least two civilians died for every guard.

Then I suggest staying in this area any longer will not be a good idea. Although if we don't have to worry about the fire spreading i nthe palace perhaps we could scout the palace for some kind of transport either a ship or a cargo vehicle?

And we wanted to make a statement and I guess we just did, that is a lot of dead people.

The fire might not spread further but if you expect the broken roof window to stop you choking to death you'd be wrong...

Well I guess our biggest concern right now is just getting out of the palace so let's just do that.

It was mentioned we brought ropes, what about going through the dome, as originally planned? I assume that Gallador was healed a bit from the burning by Galder. He stands, setting his pain aside, looks around the scene of carnage.

Not a bad idea, actually. If possible, Galder will do the same and see if he can find something to help pay Rura off with, for his troubles.

I'm not sure a mercenary is going to appreciate anything other hard cold cash to be honest Rex!
