"We're back in a big way, anyway," Galder says. "We're going to be all over the news, what with Emperor Rivas' death being broadcasted."

"Well therein you will have to learn a lot yourselves. But here you can answer me something. Around when you were at Newhaven, Kara Katai was busy on the planet Cassilis. So Adelmo needed you for something different- what was it?"

"We were a distraction for the Bureau?" Galder guesses.

"We went to Gondekerro, to look for Briande. He had a data crystal with him when we found him."

(hah, guess I didn't misread after all?)

"Ah!" exclaims Ascar. "Briande! The Kuylen family servant. Of course. So he's been found. Dead or alive?"

Misread? Oh, well, it was the answer he was after.

"And what will we gain by answering this question?

I also wonder about Adelmo's motivations. Does she want to impose her vision of Harmony upon the Galaxy?"

"We were a distraction for the Bureau?" Galder guesses.

"No need for that- they hadn't registered Katai's existence at the time."

Yeah, I thought he meant when we were on Newhaven! Edited my original post back to what it was before.

"He was still alive when we found him, but he didn't last much longer after that," Rianna replies. "Gondekerro wasn't a very nice place. He was Kuylen's servant?"

(Ah, got the timing wrong.)

"Is that who he was?" Galder asks. "Briande is dead. Ran afoul of some battle droids in the Desert of Stones on Gonderkorro. Not a nice place. We met up with him just as he was dying."

"Servant, assassin, scout, warrior. They take these things seriosuly at Tasker's Crown. Briande was fiercely loyal to Geron Kuylen, the father. By rights, he should have been working for Anaz Kuylen, the cousin of Larios, who inherited the title because Larios became a Jedi. But they say Geron never tyruly accepted that, and Briande most certainly did not. He was loyal to Larios. And Geron was obsessed with the Sith- that's where his son git it from. He had trophies from their wars against them. An ancestor of the Kuylen's led the Charnal contingent against Darth Malphas' Jovano at Gandilar and the mementos are on Antanon, their home.

"After this long, he had to be dead. But Adelmo still wanted him. He had found something?"

(Sithmas tie-in!)

"A data crystal of some sort," Galder says. "Something really old, that had mention of the Syphar N Kalar... which is Adelmo's ultimate goal, here."

"And there was a part we couldn't access on it."

"Indeed, he found something Adelmo was after. I am not sure we should share all this knowledge with you, however..."

Ascar smiles.

"May I see the message?"

"May I see the message?"

Please refer to my above posts.

People are we just to tell him everything he wants?

The irony of Gallador saying we shouldn't share information is staggeringly funny.

I feel like he already knows, somehow, Gallador.

"I get the distinct feeling that whatever's on there, you'll already know what it says..." Rianna says.

Let's show him!
