We shoud negotiate so he tells us more about Adelmo. It is hard earned stuff.

"We can show you the message, but what useful knowledge will we gain in return? Something about Adelmo and her weaknesses perhaps?"

"Ok, we'll show you it." Xavier says kind of hesitant.

Got to go with the majority vote here, I think.

He smiles more and more as he watches.

"Syphar n Kalar..." he says. "And from the right period too. The impossible thing that cannot be. The myth that subsumes myths, that creates other myths. Any evil of the Sith can be put down to it. A clear nonsense."

He turns to you.

"What would you do with it, if it were real? Whatever it was?"

"I don't know if we actually ever thought about that?" Xavier says honestly.

"Well, we don't even know what it is. The only reference we've found to it, other than this crystal, was just a single one in a book. That's it," Rianna says.

Dak is surprised by the question, as he can't really come up with a direct answer. "It... it's difficult to know how to use it, without knowing what it is. For a long time now we've been hard pressed to merely survive."

He turns to you.

"What would you do with it, if it were real? Whatever it was?"

"Well, we do not really know what it is right? But it has to be something useful and interesting, otherwise Adelmo would not seek it. It was also spoken about in the visions I received from the Force. What else we have to do at the moment anyway? And myself, I always liked ancient history.

Do you know what are Adelmo's true goals, Kir Ascar? It could explain much."

"Adelmo? Same as on Thalos. Rule what she can, utterly destroy what she cannot.

"For me... it doesn't matter what it does or is. I'd just want to keep it. For it's own sake.

"Well now. Let's get down to cases. Your injured friend here wants to know why you should help me with anything. Well, I feel we can be of great benefit to each other. I can answer any questions you want, within my capacity to, about Adelmo or other matters."

"Let's start with the beginning then. How did you met Adelmo and how did you your relationship go?"

"I met Adelmo when I was known as Mal Sannan and I was wandering the furthest reaches of space to learn more about the cosmos. She comes from a far away world in a region of space that is unusally prevalent in force sensitivity. Owing to some very distressing issues in their past, theirs is a female dominated society and only women are force sensitive, of which they have many. They are born to their role, and you can tell their role by their hair. Adelmo's is white, which is very rare. It means, effectively, she can do anything, and is very powerful... but liable to instability. They are a very insular people and I tried to teach her about the wider galaxy, which awoke something in her. It did not turn out well."

What do we want Xavier?

"I guess we want the chance to show the universe what we can do, and to find some kind of peace in it." Xavier responds and adds. "Mostly we want to take a rag tag bunch of people and make all this, everything we've been through mean something."

Oh and Xavier would like to ask him, "So why didn't you attack the Seer when you starting choking all of Adelmos' Ladies?"

Dak smirks. "Hey Rianna, you think red hair means 'crazy unstable *****' on Thalos?"

"She wasn't attacking me. Eller Jey's hair is dark. She's better with the more cerebral uses of the Force, and in particular she is exceptionally gifted with seeing the future. She's got far more of an independent mind than Adelmo's lackeys and was not part of their group link."

Rianna shoots a glare at Dak. "No, apparently that's white, didn't you listen?"

"How does this...group link thing work?"

"The Thalossians are strong on the concept of Harmony. Similar to Balance, but with a stronger emphasis on things working together. They often see the Force as a joint enterprise; many working through one. The Ladies are raised in an environment where the senior has the powers of all her juniors focussed through her, which makes it appear they have power beyond that which we can generally imagine, whereas it is really the power of many. Adelmo is the most powerful Lady for many centuries and her Ladies-in-Waiting are handpicked. But also dominated. She gets absolute obedience from them and does not need to be in physical contact with them for a link, as the more gentle minded do, but it comes at the cost of any initiative or personality from them."

"We've definitely noticed the lack of personality. So how do you break this link?" Xavier asks.

"So they're really just... living batteries, for her powers. And by attacking them, you nullified her usual ability."

"I've never even heard that such a thing could be possible with the Force..." Rianna says. "I am glad I am not from there, then, as that does not sound like something I'd want to be a part of."

"So the white hair mean that Adelmo's potential in the Force is very high, right?

But what motivated her in the beginning? It wasn`t just simple hunger for power, as you put it, I am pretty confident. How does the society look like on Thalos and do their leaders do better job that Jedi in the Republic?'

Does Gallador's Jedi Lore tell him anything about Thalos?
