Yeeeah... I would advised jumping in with Balanced Guard, not tapped. Dodge & Weave doesn't work with your lightsaber (at all). Balanced Guard gives you a defense and you're more lethal with your lightsaber anyway.

Btw, do remember if you have Charge loaded you are never locked into melee...

Dak has a 24 die attack on his opponent! Ow... 16 successes is 22 damage. Straight kill!

Rianna dashes onto the guards that have been blazing away, rolling five successes for a double kill.

Xavier scores ten damage on his pikeman foe.

Con drops his gun and his sabre leaps into his hand. He goes for a pikeman, scoring a hefty 14 damage, before Relle comes up to that one from behind and cuts him in half.

Galder goes nutso on a pikeman- can he get a one move kill like Dak? Not quite I am afraid- 17 damage is not a kill.

The northern laser tower fires at Dak, for five damage. The two remaining guards there fire at Rianna for seven.

Pikeman D goes for Con, getting him for five; the guards there fire at Relle, for ten.

Galder has a lot of people going for him. Two pikemen get him for 9 (could have been worse!) and five gunmen get him for 14. Always risky to use Forward Guard when under mass fire!

Xavier is having everything including the kitchen sink thrown at him and is holding up well in the circumstances, but with that many people at him, he takes a whole bunch of damage.

Meanwhile... Rand, rolling well, lands safely!

Gallador, not rolling at all well, lands badly and takes five damage.

Haron, coming into combat for the first time here, lands fine!

Azarl- ten types of crap just got blasted out of this thing, and it is crashing towards the south.

I'll swap in Charge for my last Gun Schtick. I'd say me and Relle take the pikeman together again and Gallador attacks guards, since he has cleave?

Rianna's going to finish up those guards. Dak, start hacking at that tower.

Xavier's going to tap PS this turn and go for the Pikeman again. If he kills the Pikeman will he still be able to attack a guard thanks to Cleave?

Also where is Nom's transport located?

And perhaps somebody would be willing to come help Xavier?

I am afraid Cleave has to be a pure mook attack.

What about my other questions?

You can't see one. And help is not my business, though Azarl is about to crash on you (if he cocks up his Pilot roll... or by random chance if he goes for a jump instead)

Can Xavier attempt to jump over the burning vehicle as it begins to crash?

You'll get a dodge roll if it comes your way by default, don't worry.

Rand lands on one knee and rises, his lightsaber hissing as it activates. Assessing the situation, Rand decides that Galder can probably handle himself with minimal help, while others need it more, for whatever reason.

"Haron, assist Galder," Rand instructs. "Attack the uninjured pikeman."

Rand then makes for Xavier, hoping to draw the attention of the guards away from the swamped swordsman, at least in part. As he approaches, he reflects a few beams back to their shooters with casual precision, then runs through a pair of guards with well-placed jabs.

Tap Reflection.

Galder will grumpily watch as Rand moves away and Haron comes his aid.

"Figures," Galder says, unhappy that his first blow against the pikeman was not the last. To make up for it, Galder thrusts forward and runs the pikeman through.

Swap in Balanced Guard for Forward Guard.

(Guards aren't close enough for a Twirl, are they?)

The shooty guards in melee range of the pikemen? Very much not, no.

In that case, Haron, go stab a guard if we get initiative. I want numbers down, not damage up.

Oh, and use Block for Defense since I'm bringing in Balanced Guard.

Just do people know, I always adjust Block as needed, if there is a clash.

If we don't get initiative, Ush, Rand is going to tap Reflection anyway against Galder's guards.

Azarl will try to keep control of the camper despite it being a horrendous piece of junk that is now on fire and falling apart, so that he doesn't land directly on Xavier or Rand in an awful fiery explosion that kills them all.

Swap in Balanced Guard.

Dak heads for the tower, attacking it directly if it's small enough to do proper damage with a lightsaber, Leaping to the top if he needs to disable the team personally.

It could take some time to cut through. Meanwhile, you have to not cock up a roll to leap up.

What kind of roll is that, Agility, right? I'm confident in Agility rolls.

And would I be able to use Evade to make myself a bit safer on the way up? Or Co-ordination/Ward...
