What in Gods name? The only reason SS blasts dont affect thanos is because he can control the power cosmic and hence the blasts SS uses against? U are a moron. I dare u to show me one time where SS was blasting thanos in which it was showed or mentioned that the reason he wasnt being affected was because he was absorbing and controlling SS attacks. Honestly i have no idea how u can have virtually no knowledge of the characters being discussed (or anything comic related for that matter), and then make nonsensical claims and attempt to pass them off as fact. Im sure ive told u this before (and im sure many others have as well) but once again............Something is clearly wrong with u.Ur analogies are completely irrelevant here because thanos does not have some special resistance or counter to SS attacks as u have tried to claim. In this case the source of the power make no difference and all we are concerned with is the offensive output.
I realy shouldnt even be replying to ur foolishness anyways.....
It is understood that Thanos can absorb cosmic energy right? Do u know gamma rays r in space and will destroy anything that is living on Earth. Why doesn't it destroy Thanos in space when the natural gamma rays is hitting him? Because Thanos absorbs it smartguy! It stands to reason that is a logical explanation of how he can be very resistance to cosmic energy (not completely immune). Why is both Thor and Storm immune to lightning? Why is Cyclops immune to his energy?
Also how to you explain Sue vs. Exitar, Drax vs. Thanos, TP vs. Juggernaut, etc.?
What u said is moot anyway, as u r just nitpicking. My point still stands, ABC logic doesn't work when we have different types of energy.
Otherwise DD is IMMUNE to all forms of energy.

We aren't discussing which Thanos stories we like or don't like so give it a rest. We are discussing the events in a Quasar issue and the events in ig and we already know you hate ig which is your loss.
I was replying to another post btw, so it had something to do with the post I was referring to.

Fc was a much weaker story no one even cared about in the first place.
You're funny guy, IG was weaker by common sense. You don't build an event around a villain who has already acquired all the powers he needs to rule the universe, in the "dos" and "don'ts" of story building, that's your basic "don't". So all we look forward to is Thanos toying with the heroes, how entertaining. 🙄
It was formulaic and more importantly, it was plain dull. I don't know about Cosmic Collision but all it needed to do to be better than IG is have real conflict.
Originally posted by KK the GreatHe's never attempted it against a serious Thanos who wasn't playing with heroes so we will never know. It stands to reason based on Thanos' history this attack wouldn't be effective against a serious Thanos.
Has he ever tried and failed?
Originally posted by AllanklesI doubt it.

I think you don't build a story around Darksei dand then have him outstaged by some cosmic vampire at the end of the arc. That's hilarious that in darkseid's main event he wasn't even the most serious threat. In Thanos stories where he is the antagonist he's the one they all gather up against to beat and he isn't upstaged by some ridiculous vampire.
Calling the ig dull when darkseid was defeated by singing is hilarious. Yeah, that's exciting writing.

That doesn't stand to reason at all.
If I eat a grenade, whether I'm in a serious mood would have nothing to do with my body's ability to withstand the explosion.

Who cares? Thanos had the Infinity Gauntlet. There's very little relevant aside from a demonstration that Quasar's power is sufficient to seriously damage Thanos.
If I let a ship run into me.. it will do serious damage... yet the key word is allow.. So who cares if Quasar could do damage if allowed.. in a fight you're not going to do that.
