During WF, not only did BM "whack" (as in kill) Spectre multiple times, but he also destroyed at least one universe all by his lonesome -- and iirc, the destruction of one universe is what it took to destroy BCA Galactus. Additionally, BM also came out totally unscathed when Mxy unleashed his final creation-destroying attack.

BM can't really lose this, imo.

Galactus wanted to die though, he could have put up shields or whatever if he didn't.
