You sure you didn't rent the wrong movie? Perhaps you were watching, Grown up. I don't know. I thought the movie represented the comics rather well. Yeah, it turned into the, Big Daddy and Hit girl show, mid way through but that didn't bother me. I would say that this movie is perfect example of how to make a mature comic movie that appeals to both the teen and adult audience.

I just rented it and watched it for the second time. I still love this movie. Hit Girl is by far the most unique in your face ballsy character I've seen in the movies lately. I also love the musical score, and the violence is done quite well.
I just saw this movie a couple hours ago and I was blown away from what I thought this movie was going to be. Before I watched it...I was at a store thinking of buying it but thought it would be a waste of money but then I ended up ordering it ondemand later in the night. Now I regret not buying it.
