You sure you didn't rent the wrong movie? Perhaps you were watching, Grown up. I don't know. I thought the movie represented the comics rather well. Yeah, it turned into the, Big Daddy and Hit girl show, mid way through but that didn't bother me. I would say that this movie is perfect example of how to make a mature comic movie that appeals to both the teen and adult audience.

Kick Ass is a superhero film based on the 2010 cartoon in the same name.Mark Millar is a comic-book me with Marvel greatest video artist John Romita Jr.The youtube you can see copied here was taken in a supermarket car park after that I helped someone who was being assaulted.

I just rented it and watched it for the second time. I still love this movie. Hit Girl is by far the most unique in your face ballsy character I've seen in the movies lately. I also love the musical score, and the violence is done quite well.

yeah, the movie is funny as hell but the action and characters is definitely where the movie shines. I love that scene where Hit girl runs up the guys body and kills him with his own gun lol.

Damn the special features on the blu ray are great! The "making of" documentary is nearly as long as the movie itself and covers basically everything from designing the sets, to the filming, stunt work training, to post production and marketing. Amazing!

I just saw this movie a couple hours ago and I was blown away from what I thought this movie was going to be. Before I watched it...I was at a store thinking of buying it but thought it would be a waste of money but then I ended up ordering it ondemand later in the night. Now I regret not buying it.
