Kick Ass

I really don't get why people were disappointed in this film, aside from readers of the graphic novel. It was a f*cking comic book move, what were you expecting? I know some people think TDK was a cinematic "masterpiece" (HA!), and maybe they held this movie to the same standards. This movie was clearly made to be an extremely comical, yet violent movie with splashes of melodrama. As long as you knew what you were in for before seeing it, it was hard to be disappointing (unless you were an idiot who didn't take it for what it obviously was meant to be).

BTW: I was afraid of hating Hit-girl before I saw it. The girl actually made the character very likeable, IMO.

Yeah, i agree. I'm not sure what some people expected by this movie. If you saw the trailer featuring an eleven year old girl beating people up and still decided to go see, there is no reason why you should be disappointed.

Kick-Ass was a masterpiece, WTF are you implying? 🙂

😮‍💨 Okay,Here is K.Diddys speech on Kick Ass
Let me just start by saying I have never read or even heard about the graphic novel, but this movie took my interest as soon as I heard about it.Unfortunatly I missed it on it's theatre release so I was thrilled when it came out on dvd and there was a copy at the videoshop waiting for me to grab.
Now,this movie did NOT disappoint,I think the opening scene was unbelievable,I mean lets face it,what Kid hasn't dreamed of being a Superhero?
Some of these scenes did reek of quentin Tarantino, but As a lover of Tarantino I had no problem with that, and they were pulled off very good. The only thing that slightly disappointed me was that I thought the last fight scenes were a bit too fast paced, but this movie had excellent scenes and great dialogue.
Let me get started on the character of ''Hit-Girl'' Now this in my opinion is one of the strongest characters of the decade, yes,I know thats a big call, but you couldn't help but fall in love with this girl and this movie,So coming from K.Diddy who is now Hit-Girls 2nd biggest fan,As Tired Hiker as already claimed to be the first,I give this movie 9/10 and a massive thumbs up!
