I mean its even made pretty apparent that hes not as fast as he is in space while on earth whereas the Flash can maintain his level of speed anywhere

Also Wally can survive in a black hole by vibrating his molecules. That won't be the best tactic for SS to win this.

Flash is pretty uber. And when did he survive a black hole? I say Wally.

Hell I don’t even know why speed stealing is being brought up to begin with. If anything, Surfer has greater opportunity to drain Flash by various means than Flash to Surfer. This is of course if you count on the fact that his Silver Coat protects him energy drainage.

A speed steal is not draining someone's energy, just their speed only.

Besides, all characters can be slowed down (loss of kinetic energy). Being able to resist energy draining attacks won't prevent this.

His powers don't work like that (real science). He uses the speed force to steal speed. That is why he doesn't need to touch his target to steal their speed. He just does it. He was able to steal speed from characters who have resistance against energy draining attacks. This implies that it has nothing to do with real science but the fictional speed force.

He's still stealing kinetic energy. That's been stated on panel.

It would slow down SS further, but it's temporary obviously. With the power cosmic he can generate more kinetic energy.

The Speedforce allows Flash to do things like race against instantaneous travel - I know ridiculous. The problem isn't SS top speed (which wouldn't matter to Flash honestly), it's his acceleration and reflex speed from a dead start, that's the problem, he's nowhere near speedster level in those departments.

I mean, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone that can say that SS can blitz a guy like Thanos. If he's not expected to do that, then how is he supposed to react to arguably the fastest guy in comicdom?
