What about the floor?

Sturdy stone.

"Hmmm..." Denz starts to feel disheartened, like he'd started a great Gundark chase, only for it to be nothing but a Womprat. "Any luck, Soapy?" he asks his long time droid, and companion. Denz was hoping that a resonance scan would detect empty spaces, or thinner walls. He moved to inspect each wall, and cell.

Soapy emits a curt beep indicating that he is frustrated.

Denzral approaches the cell with the reptilian in, "how long have you been here?"

"Two days," he says. "Let me out! I didn't do anything! I'm innocent, I swear!"

"Did you see a young girl being taken through here?" Denzral asks his reptilian foe. He then described her.

The reptilian nods fervently.

"Yeah yeah, totally did!" he says. "Let me out and I'll tell you more!"

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," King Evand says.

"How long have you been here?" Denzral asks. Can I see anything that brings down the shield?

How many Force Points do I have?

"Where was she taken?" Denzral asks. Can I see anything that brings down the shield?

How many Force Points do I have?

There are controls for the door.

"I... I dunno!" he says. "I don't know where they get taken."

You have 6.

I'll use scan or empathy, whichever is most appropriate.

"I never said 'they' I said girl, so... where do 'they' go?!" Denzral made his voice as firm as possible.

Scan gives you a read of their emotional state; Empathy gives you the ability to work out group dynamics.

"I don't know!" he says. "The men just come and take people!"

"What was you crime?" His voice softened. "King; do you know anything about this?"

"I've already explained this!" King Evand says. "My Knights escort prisoners to the starport when they are deported, back to whatever worlds they came from."

"Not true!" says the lizard man.

"I do not lie, criminal," King Evand says.

SCAN

The lizard is frightened but hopeful.

The King is indignant and angry.

"Calm down; what the king says, he may very well believe is true. King why was I thrown into the desert rather than placed into your custody?"

"I am unaware," the King says, "hence why this investigation is underway and your crimes cleared in the first place."

"Do you know why you have not been taken yet?"
