cool, nom nom nom...

Denzral will finish the story with his discovery of the clue that lead him to here.

The King is perturbed by this.

"So you think there is a connection between those murders and the raiders you think are here?" King Evand asks.

"Nonsense," Lothar says. "You would be accusing someone in the Stad of reviving that evil Cult."

"I am doing no such thing, I am simply investigating a possibility."

"That is what it would come to," Lothar suggests. "Should there be any truth to the matter."

"Do you find that likely?" King Evand asks.

"No," Lothar says. "What purpose could they have in a bastion for refugees?"

Denzral knew he would have to be careful with what he said, last thing he wanted to do right now was piss-off the king, however... "Would you prefer no investigation, and allow these raiders or this cult to go undected, or uninvestigated to prove that it, or these Raiders, have no relation to Halloy?" Denzral looked at all the space here. "The city is very overcrowded."

The King is irritated by this comment but replies coolly.

"If there is something to uncover, then I would prefer it be uncovered," the King says. "I simply do not think they are here."

"What does overcrowding have to do with your investigation?" Lothar asks.

((Err... overcrowding? Nothing... I... oops that shouldn't be in there... sorry Rex, can you strike that last, Denzral wasn't supposed to say it...))

What time of the day is it?

"Lothar Tull, were you ever part of the Jedi Order?"

"I was," Lothar says.

(am I aware of Count Dooku by this point?)

"What happened?"

Dooku left the Order two years ago.

"I was never selected as a Padawan," Lothar states. "I was never a Knight."

I must really be dense)

"What were you, then?"

The term for it would be Jedi Hopeful.

"I left the Order when I only a boy."

"As a youngling? What did you do?"

Denz'll need to pull in that favor the Archives owe him.

"Traveled the Galaxy and finished my training on my own, using what I already knew and practicing it. I don't see what this has to do with your investigation..."

"Curiosity, but nothing to do with the investigation."

Lothar furrows his brow but says nothing else.

Did Denzral want to discuss anything else with the King or Lothar?

Not really? Nothing than can wait.

In that case, one of the nobles then turns the conversation away from Lothar's past and the investigation, bringing up local matters.

Denzral will listen intently.
