It's all really menial stuff- taxes, government funding, politics.

"If you'll excuse me..." Denz started "...I shall leave you to discuss these local matters without my interference." He smiled, and bowed. "Thank you." He then intended to leave, and geo and see if Soapy is okay, then find out if his room has com access to the core-worlds directly, or indirectly.

You don't have a comm unit in your room.

Then I'll go and find one outside the Tower, Soapy along for the ride.

The Tower has comm units. They're just not in your room.

okay Denz will go and send a report to the council and see if he can talk face to face with them (well voice to voice). By the way did Denz get Tull's first name?

Yes- Lothar Tull.

It appears that the comms are down for maintenance! You won't be able to make a call from the Tower.

Ah yes, so easy this tapestry of intrigue slips my mind.

Anyway... Denz'll go to a com centre outside the tower. And bring Soapy along. (while heading in the direction of the hangers)

Where do you expect to find a comm center?

On board a freighter perhaps. Can I get Soapy to splice in and tell me wether coms really are down or not.

Splice into what? Any comm units are not going to be open to the public at the starport, and you would have to convince someone to let you use their comms.

I will go ask the King if I can look at the Hangers I had my attention brought to originally. And do so pending his blessing.

With the dinner concluded, the King has retreated to his private quarters. One of the Guards informs you that he is not accepting an audience at this time.

Denzral will go to the hanger now then. He will leave a message with the guard to tell the King next he see's him.

Certainly!

It is now night as you leave the Tower and go beyond its gates, moving into the city. All of the buildings are close together and the streets are narrow, especially near the Tower itself. Things spread out further toward the edge of the Stad, where the protective wall encircles it.

The starport is not far from the Tower. It is very quiet; you do not see a single person on your way there.

Can I sense anyone, or anything that may be odd?

You can sense people around, sure! They are all indoors. There must be a curfew in effect.

Denz'll plod on to the star port. What time is it?

Early evening. The sun has gone down.

The star port is quiet as well; there does not seem to be any air traffic when you approach it.

You are going to the hangar you wanted to investigate earlier, yes?

Indeed. Denz will remain alert, but he'll will walk straight up to it if he see's noone.
