Soapy links up to the Archive to perform his search. He gives a few positive-sounding whistles, and brings up displays on screen.
One of the symbols matches the snake-and-skull emblem on that coin you have. The Cult of Necros! The emblem is done in black on the understand of a wing, near a set of torpedo launchers.
The next is hard to make out, painted in white on the fuselage near the nose. It is a circle with an outlined bar through it. Soapy does a search for this and turns up something called the White Tower.
The White Tower it is!
The White Tower started off as an idea, and a name. It was the name of a group of slavers in the Outer Rim, who used an awful ruse to lure the poor. The White Tower slavers told their tale of a new planet where the poor could start anew; a second chance. Really, they would just pack these poor saps into slave ships and put them in chains and sell them about the Galaxy.
Eventually, however, they made the mistake of crossing into Republic territory and raiding a member world. The Senate, not at all pleased with this, sent the Jedi to apprehend the White Tower slavers. There was a fight, and the "King" of the slavers fell in combat. His son, in an act of wisdom, surrendered, and told the Jedi that he wanted to make the White Tower a reality, a true refuge for the poor and sick. Using the resources the slavers had accumulated, they set to work building a mighty fortress on a farflung world.
That world is Halloy. The White Tower still stands there.
Denzral took note of that information. "Soapy, can you store that information." He looked at the information again. "There is a definite connection. Kanna and I had been tracking down a possible slave ring in the Republic when she had been assassinated. The slave ring had bled dry as had all evidence of the shooter. It was... rather peculiar. "Soapy, bring up any information on Halloy."
Halloy is a planet just beyond Republic space, in the direction of the Unknown Regions. It was uninhabited by sentient life before the White Tower was founded there. It possesses very rocky terrain and grassy plains, and a few oceans. They do trade with the surrounding systems and do not interact with the Republic if they can help it.
It is strangely displeasing when you assemble a list of sites that the raiders hit before their end at Dartta. Pilsebak II where they burned down a village, Brodo Asogi were they stole advanced hyperdrive technology, Kalee and Huk were they stole weapons, and the Codian Moon where they killed ranchers and took their reeks (also the first raid that angered the Republic)... all in an area of space very close to Halloy.
The Cult of Necros was founded by a Sith Lord- rather predictably named Darth Necros- during the New Sith Wars, the war which ended with the supposed extinction of the Sith. The Cult of Necros raided Republic worlds with hit-and-run tactics, striking as far in as the Colonies. What they took were Republic citizens. At the time, many thought they were being abducted for use as slave labor, and some were.
Others were less fortunate, and Darth Necros used them as experiments for his necromancy projects on Korriban. Rumor has it that he was successful.
